A big thank you to everyone at the UBC networking group yesterday. I had the pleasure of giving my presentation: AI and SEO: The Future of Being Found It was a brilliant, responsive audience, with some great questions and discussion afterwards. The main message was simple: SEO isn’t dead. It’s just got smarter. People are still searching, but the way they search is changing. Google still matters, but AI tools are now part of the journey too. For small businesses, that means your website has to do more than simply exist. It needs to be clear. It needs to answer real customer questions. It needs to show proof. It needs to build trust. And it needs to help people understand very quickly why they should choose you. Because being found is not the same as being chosen. I’ll be delivering this talk at a couple more networking groups over the next few weeks, so it’s clearly a topic that’s on people’s minds at the moment. Thanks again to Christine Anderson and UBC for having me and to everyone who joined in so enthusiastically. It made the session an absolute pleasure to deliver.
