  • Women in Tech Week is just 12 weeks away – and we'd love you to be part of it. Now in its third year, Women in Tech Week has become a nationwide celebration of women in technology, bringing together the entire ecosystem to connect, learn, collaborate and champion the incredible women driving our industry forward. From Edinburgh to Cornwall, we've already seen more than 200 free in-person and virtual events take place over the past two years – and this year, we're aiming to make it even bigger. The response so far has been fantastic, with organisations, tech networks, ERGs, startups, charities, education providers and coaches all signing up to host events. Now it's your turn! Whether you're planning a conference, panel discussion or workshop, or something as simple as a breakfast, lunch and learn or networking session for 10–20 people, every event makes a difference. The goal is simple: create opportunities to support, celebrate and retain women in tech during 12–16 October. If you're hosting an in-person event, we'd love you to reserve a few places for women from the wider tech community, helping make the week as inclusive and accessible as possible. And remember – Women in Tech Week is for the whole of the UK, not just London. We're already seeing events planned in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Southampton and Belfast, with many more locations joining every week. We're also inviting our friends across the ecosystem – tech ERGs, community groups, networks and organisations championing women in tech – to collaborate with us. Our information pack includes themed days, event ideas and guidance, and we're always happy to explore partnership opportunities or help connect you with others taking part. Interested in getting involved? Email info@wearethecity.com and we'll send you our information pack. If you'd like to chat through ideas, the team would be delighted to arrange a discovery call. Let's make Women in Tech Week 2026 our biggest and most impactful yet. 💜 Find out more: https://lnkd.in/egpVHrVE 📅 Our master event calendar is being updated throughout the summer, with bookings expected to open for all events by the end of August.
