Hi,

We recently migrated our site from one host to another.

Two-factor authentication is no longer available. I tried resetting the Set Encryption Key, but to no avail. Error: Could not rotate and Could not decrypt secret

We’re here to help!

After a migration, the encryption key that protects your 2FA secrets often doesn’t carry over to the new host, so the plugin can’t decrypt your existing 2FA data.

To resolve that, you’ll want to generate a new Mobile App 2FA secret key by following the steps here: Error: Mobile App Two-Factor is Temporarily Unavailable
