🏆 Hall of Fame Spotlight: Robert Baer, CPA, CFS, CEO/President, Abbott Interfast Next up in our Hall of Fame spotlight series is Robert Baer, who joined Abbott Interfast as Controller in 1992, and was promoted to President/ CEO in 2017, a role he still holds today. He's built and strengthened global supply chains, managed high-volume fastener programs, and developed long-term strategic supplier partnerships across North America and Asia — with deep expertise navigating tariffs, trade regulations, and complex international sourcing. Bob's service to MWFA spans more than 20 years of volunteer leadership, including two years as President and 15+ years as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, where his disciplined approach helped build the reserves and planning frameworks MWFA relies on today. He's also served on the Fastener Industry Coalition board since 2014, the Fastener Training Institute board, and the Fastener Fair advisory board — and was previously inducted into the International Fastener Hall of Fame.
