According to the National Low Income Housing Coalition's annual Gap Report, Arizona faces a severe shortage of affordable rental housing. Low-wage workers, seniors, and individuals with disabilities bear the greatest burden. Copa Health and Arizona Housing, Inc. are confronting this challenge together. Through our partnership, approximately 650 residents across five AHI communities maintain safe, affordable housing while gaining expanded access to integrated health services and employment support. These challenges don't occur in isolation. Neither should the solutions. Our partnership with AHI reinforces a shared belief: every person deserves a stable home and the support to thrive.

The residents we serve face financial instability, food insecurity, behavioral health needs, and limited access to resources all at once. They need comprehensive support, and they need your help to get it. Copa Health receives a $1 million grant from the Arizona Department of Housing to help care for 50 neighbors experiencing homelessness who have a serious mental illness. This grant will provide housing and healthcare that reduces returns to homelessness and helps people thrive.

Stabilizing our most vulnerable community members requires more than a single solution. It requires a continuum of care. At Copa Health and Arizona Housing Inc, our approach is built on three interconnected pillars: Housing — Our full pathway guides individuals from crisis to transitional housing to a permanent home, because without stable housing, everything else falls apart. Healthcare — Our Valley-area Integrated Health Clinics provide comprehensive services including primary care, behavioral and mental health, and substance use treatment, removing barriers to stability. Employment — We connect people to job opportunities with wraparound support including training, coaching, and ongoing case management, creating a real path to independence.
