A special way to end an unforgettable evening at the ASI Counselor Awards, where we celebrated the promo industry’s leaders, innovators and top companies. I joined Matthew Cohn and Stephanie Cohn Schaeffer to continue a cherished family tradition started by their late father, former ASI Chairman Norman Cohn, who spent more than 75 years helping shape the promo industry. For years, after the Counselor Awards, the Cohn family headed to The Wiener’s Circle for Chicago-style hot dogs. This year, Matthew, Stephanie and I invited everyone at the awards to become part of that tradition, gathering over char dogs, beer and great conversation on the patio. As I’ve learned, Norman loved this industry – and he loved hot dogs. His mother, Bess Cohn, started ASI’s tradition of serving mini hot dogs in the ASI booth to give distributors a boost during long days on the show floor – a tradition that continues today at every ASI Show. Now it’s on to the final day of #ASIChicago, with Expo Hall open 10–2:30. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the show floor and in the ASI Booth!
