📸 To celebrate the start of summer, our residents took part in a 4-week summer wellness challenge, sharing how they stay active, what fuels them, how they unwind, and the moments that make summer feel special. We received hundreds of incredible entries — thank you to everyone who participated! Congratulations to our four winners, who will each receive a gift card. 🎥 A look behind the scenes at Avalon Brier Creek. As construction progresses, the vision for this new community in #Durham, NC is coming into focus. This latest update offers a peek inside the spacious townhomes, showcasing modern kitchens, beautifully designed bathrooms, and thoughtfully crafted interiors. Beyond the homes, the community’s clubhouse and amenity spaces are also taking shape, including the future resident lounge, fitness center, and pool area. From welcoming streetscapes to carefully designed living spaces, we're excited to see Avalon Brier Creek continue to come to life.

We're proud to support organizations that make a meaningful impact in our communities. Recently, AvalonBay associates partnered with Pathways to Independence - Los Alamitos, California for a mural paint project. Together, volunteers helped create a mural celebrating remarkable women throughout history and the lasting impact they've made. As part of the event, our team was also honored to present a $2,500 donation to Pathways to Independence in support of their important work. Thank you to all the associates who volunteered their time and talent to help bring this project to life. 🎨💙

Meet Gina Michaud, Maintenance Coordinator II in Boston, who recently celebrated 20 years with AvalonBay. Known for her growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement, Gina is always looking for opportunities to learn, adapt, and make a positive impact. “During change is the perfect time to step back, refine our processes, and find better and more efficient ways to get things done. I love to learn, explore new ideas, and find better ways of doing things. Whether it’s streamlining a procedure, picking up a new skill, or approaching a challenge from a different angle, I’m energized by growth.”

⛳ Mid-Atlantic associates and their families recently gathered at Perch Putt in Tysons, VA, for the annual Summer Picnic. With food, drinks, live music, friendly competition on the putting course, and raffle prizes, the event offered a great opportunity to connect outside of the workplace. A special thank you to our Spirit Team for planning another memorable event that brought colleagues and families together.
