As we begin to wrap up another incredible internship season and prepare to celebrate National Intern Day, we're looking back at some of our favorite intern events from the summer this week! At our Crossover Intern Event in Charlotte, interns toured the Academic Addition at Christ the King High School and got to see what collaboration really looks like in action. The project showcases the teamwork between Barringer, SteelFab, Inc. , and Little Diversified Architectural Consulting —three partners working together both on the jobsite and through our Crossover Program alongside CBI. Seeing those connections come to life in the field is what this program is all about: learning from each other, building relationships, and discovering how great projects are made possible through teamwork.

The Auxiliary, a new 10,000 SF music venue, is coming to Charlotte, North Carolina! "The Aux" is slated to be the first tenant in the new Anthem District, located in Charlotte's South End neighborhood. The venue will accommodate up to 1,000 guests and plans to host more than 100 events annually. We're proud to be a part of this transformational project with The Providence Group of the Carolinas, LLC, alongside partners KDG ARCHITECTURE + INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE and Barringer Construction. Alongside our partners at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, Choate Construction Company, CBI, SteelFab, Inc., and Tri Properties, Inc., our Raleigh interns are wrapping up the Intern Crossover Program with networking, and exploring the many paths our industry has to offer. From behind-the-scenes tours of the Pendo and Bandwidth campuses to meaningful connections with peers across the AEC industry, these experiences showcased the power of collaboration and the exciting future of construction and design. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this program possible—and to the interns who brought energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm to every event. We're excited to see where your careers take you! 👏

Charlotte's skyline's new neighbor is hitting new construction milestones every week. 🌇 Progress continues at the Carolina Golf Club Clubhouse as the second-floor framing nears completion. Trusses are being set in place and raised one by one, while the stair tower is beginning to take shape with installation underway. Every week brings this future gathering place closer to reality and we love sharing the progress.

Transforming Fidelity's SouthPark office wasn't just about refreshing 12,000 SF across two floors, it was about keeping people working while construction moved around them. From navigating occupied spaces and coordinating with the owner, landlord, and property management team to overcoming unexpected utility challenges, road closures, weather delays, and a non-negotiable move-in date, every step required collaboration and constant communication. Thanks to the dedication of our project team, trade partners, and clients, an outdated office was transformed into a modern workplace without missing a beat. Projects like this are a reminder that the best builds happen when everyone works toward the same goal. #barringerlife
