  • One wrong job code. One approved invoice. One corrupted job cost report. It happens more than anyone admits. A vendor invoice comes in, AP is busy, the job code looks close enough — and it gets approved. By the time someone catches it, the job is closed and the numbers are wrong. Now multiply that by 400 invoices a month. Construction companies make project decisions based on job cost data. If that data has even a handful of miscoded invoices, the margin analysis is off. Bonuses are miscalculated. Future bids are mispriced. Leadership is making decisions on numbers nobody fully trusts. The fix is simple in theory — validate every invoice against live ERP data before it's approved. Not after. Before. With a real-time connection to Vista, Foundation, or QuickBooks — every job code, cost code, and vendor gets verified against what's actually in your ERP the moment the invoice arrives. Wrong code? Flagged before anyone approves it. Find us on Trimble Marketplace — we built this for Vista and Foundation contractors specifically. How often does your team catch a miscoded invoice — and how late in the process? 👇 #ConstructionFinance #APAutomation #TrimbleMarketplace #TrimbleVista #Foundation #QuickBooks #JobCosting #ConstructionTech

  • Meet Sarah. She's the only AP person at a 45-person construction company. Every morning she opens her inbox to 30+ vendor emails. She's processing 400 invoices a month — by hand. She hasn't taken a full week off in two years because nobody else knows how to do what she does. Her company isn't understaffed. They just built their entire AP process around one person. And Sarah isn't rare. She's everywhere in construction. The real problem isn't headcount — it's that manual AP scales with volume. Every new job means more invoices. More invoices means more hours. More hours means Sarah is drowning by month-end and the company is one resignation away from a crisis. The fix isn't hiring another Sarah. It's building a workflow that doesn't depend on one. When AP is automated — invoices extracted by AI, routed to the right approver by job ID, validated against live Vista, Foundation, or QuickBooks data — Sarah goes from processing 400 invoices to reviewing exceptions. Her job gets better. The company gets resilient. That's what we build at Beiing Human. Find us on Trimble Marketplace. Do you know a Sarah at your company? 👇 #ConstructionFinance #APAutomation #TrimbleMarketplace #TrimbleVista #Foundation #QuickBooks #ConstructionTech #AccountsPayable

  • The job is done. The crew is gone. But the invoices are still coming in. This is one of the most overlooked cash flow problems in construction — and it silently eats into job profitability every single month. Here's how it plays out: 🏗️ Job closes in your ERP — Vista, Foundation, or QuickBooks 📬 Vendor invoices keep arriving for 30–60 days after 🔁 AP processes them manually — sometimes against the wrong job 📊 Final job cost report is wrong before it's even printed The gap between job close and invoice approval isn't an accounting problem. It's a workflow problem — and it's solvable. When invoices validate against live ERP data in real time — with automatic approval routing and job-code verification before anything posts — that gap closes. Final job costs are accurate. Close-out reporting is clean. And nothing slips through after the crew leaves. Beiing Human integrates in real time with Trimble Vista, Foundation, QuickBooks, and other leading construction ERPs — so your AP process stays accurate no matter what system you run on. Find us on Trimble Marketplace if your team is dealing with this after every job close. How long does it typically take your team to close out AP after a job finishes? 👇 #ConstructionFinance #APAutomation #TrimbleMarketplace #TrimbleVista #Foundation #QuickBooks #JobCosting #ConstructionTech #AccountsPayable

🎉 Big news: our article on AI agent benchmarking for construction finance has been accepted by CFMA Building Profits! Co-authored with Joe Harper, CPA, CCIFP (CFO, Kelley Brothers Roofing, Inc.), the piece makes a simple case: AI agents that touch your ERP, your AP inbox, or your bank portal shouldn't be trusted because of a good demo — they should be tested, the way software engineering learned to test agents years ago. It's also where we introduce CFAgentBench, an early open benchmark for construction-finance AI agents — because as a solution listed on Trimble Marketplace, we believe the same rigor we're asking the industry to demand of AI vendors has to start with us. 📄 Read the cs.AI article at ArXiv: https://lnkd.in/evJjqArC Article dropping soon in CFMA Building Profits. 👷♂️📊 #ConstructionFinance #AIAgents #CFMA #TrimbleMarketplace #ConstructionTech

  • Construction CFOs know their material costs down to the penny. But ask them what it costs to process a single invoice — and most don't know. Industry average: $21 per invoice. A contractor processing 500 invoices a month is spending $126,000 a year just on AP — before a single dollar hits a job cost. That $21 includes: 🕐 The time your AP person spends keying data manually 📞 The calls to PMs chasing down approvals 🔁 The re-work when an invoice gets coded to the wrong job 📅 The month-end scramble to reconcile what's still open Contractors running on Trimble Vista or Foundation who automate this process bring that cost down to $5 per invoice — a 76% reduction. AP isn't just an admin function. It's a cost center that most construction companies are massively overpaying for — and don't realize it until they run the numbers. If you're a Vista or Foundation contractor curious what your AP is actually costing you — find us on Trimble Marketplace and let's run the numbers together. What does your team estimate your cost per invoice is today? 👇 #ConstructionFinance #APAutomation #TrimbleMarketplace #TrimbleVista #Foundation #ConstructionTech #CFO #AccountsPayable

DRAMATIC UPDATE!!!!! We have a new entrant in the Top-5 this afternoon! Congrats to Beiing Human! 50pts for Dimensions! --- And just like that, the last full business week of June is in the books, which means the #SummerSuitestakes is at the halfway mark! June 26th Leaderboard Update: 🥇 - Equifax 🥈 - ClearPlan LLC 🥉 - Followup CRM 4 - Lumber 5 - Beiing Human #TrimbleDimensions26 will usher in the 6th Annual Suite Party. I started throwing this party when Tom Stemm (founder of Ryvit) took the ultimate gamble by letting me spend his money in Vegas to build community with partners and customers. It's grown from very humble beginnings (just ask Angie Wiering about caprese salad) to now the best Karaoke party on the Strip. In the past, this event has intentionally flown under the radar. It's an invite-only, speakeasy-style gathering of partners and customers. The vibe is “frat party with a touch of class and plenty of budget.” We secure two adjoining hospitality parlors with two bars, multiple food stations, and balconies for fresh air. Guests are treated to Pop-A-Shot, Karaoke, Beer Pong, unique swag, food and a custom cocktail menu. Each year, we continue to exceed expectations with turnout. Word spreads when you’re having fun. Each year, we hear feedback from partners & customers alike: “The one party I look forward to at Dimensions…” “That one conversation with ______ paid for our entire sponsorship!” “Make sure we’re on the short list for next year’s sponsor call!” “I had no idea ______ could sing like that!” “Dimensions was our most successful show this year. Thanks for the invite!” The Suite Party continues to build an undeniable reputation of successfully combining social fun, meaningful sales interactions, and effective experiential marketing. In previous years, there was no official communication about this party ahead of time. There’s no signage on where to find this party at the resort. It’s grown entirely through word of mouth. It’s an event that carries a sense of IYKYK. The #SummerSuitestakes is a chance to co-host this party with Trimble Marketplace. If you're a Trimble Marketplace Partner and you're going to Dimensions, then this competition is something your marketing team should be laser-focused on throughout July and August. The first half of Summer has come and gone... and it feels like we're only just getting warmed up! Breaking the Top-5 now means that you need over 100 points... and it won't be long before it'll take 200 points to crack the list. My expectation is that it will take at least 350 points to finish in the Top 5 and claim #SuiteVictory. AND ONE FINAL REMINDER ABOUT A ONE-TIME 50-PT BONUS! Register for Dimensions BEFORE JULY 1, 2026 to get a one-time 50pt bonus to help boost your leaderboard standings! Time is running out on this! • Me just casually outrunning invoice approval while the other guy is still keying it in manually. One thing I've seen across construction finance teams: invoices don't slow projects down — manual processing does. That's why we built Beiing Human to handle the volume automatically. Real-time sync with Trimble Marketplace Vista and Spectrum means by the time your PM asks about an invoice, it's already in the system. Your team didn't get into construction to key in invoices. Let's fix that.

  • Great week at the CFMA Annual Conference & Exhibition in Phoenix! I had the opportunity to connect with construction finance professionals, technology leaders, and industry partners while learning about the latest developments shaping the future of construction accounting and operations. From insightful product roadmap discussions and educational sessions to valuable networking opportunities, it was great to hear firsthand how construction companies are leveraging technology to improve efficiency and drive growth. Thank you to everyone who took the time to connect. Looking forward to continuing the conversations and exploring new opportunities to help construction companies streamline their accounts payable processes. #CFMA2026 #ConstructionFinance #ConstructionTechnology #APAutomation #TrimbleVista #ConstructionAccounting #Networking #BeiingHuman

  • Did You Know? — A lot of Vista and Spectrum contractors are running AP workflows that aren't actually connected to their ERP in real time. Jobs, vendors, PO numbers — they're pulling stale data because the sync only runs nightly, or worse, someone is re-keying it manually. By the time an invoice is approved, the job code it's coded to may have already changed in Vista. The difference between a real integration and a file-based one matters more than most people realize. File-based transfers — CSV exports, FTP drops, batch imports — break, lag, and require someone to babysit them. A true two-way, real-time connection means both systems stay continuously in sync. No file transfers. No manual intervention. In practice: if you make any change in Vista or Spectrum — a new job, an updated vendor, a revised PO — that update is reflected in your AP system within 15 minutes. Every invoice validates against live ERP data before it's ever approved, so nothing slips through with a wrong job, vendor, or PO reference. Curious — how many of your Vista or Spectrum customers are dealing with this today and chalking it up to "just how AP works"? Would love to hear what workarounds your teams have seen in the field.
