“Do we even need salespeople anymore?” In our latest blog post, TJ Williams shares an operator’s view on what the enterprise sales team of the future looks like and how software companies should be building for it today. He covers why your SDR and BDR functions still matter more than ever, what it means to hire for AI fluency, and why the real promise of AI tools isn't scale — it's focus. BPC's Mark Dzialga joined Logan Lin on the FinanZe Podcast to discuss the current state of software investing—from separating market narratives from operational reality to how AI is reshaping durability and growth. Listen to the full conversation below.
Enjoyed my conversation with one of the premier growth investors on wall street Mark Dzialga, Founder and Managing Partner of Brighton Park Capital. BPC is a leading growth equity firm managing $3 billion in AUM and have made successful investments in Darktrace, RocketReach, HTEC, Orca AI, TickPick, and OPSWAT. Prior to Brighton Park, Mark was Managing Director and Chairman of the investment committee at General Atlantic. He helped expand General Atlantic’s investment operations into new markets including Western/Eastern Europe, Latin America, India, Southeast Asia, and China. He was one of the most important investors at GA helping the firm become the global investment machine we know today. Lastly, early on in Mark’s career he was Co-Head of the Technology M&A Group at Goldman Sachs. A titan in his respected field, please enjoy my talk with Mark. Our conversation dives into the following topics: - Why is Public SaaS Getting Crushed - Risk Taking at General Atlantic and building Brighton Park Capital - Revenue Durability and New SaaS Metrics investors should look for - AI Fears and Embracing AI - The Dot Com vs AI Bubble the differences, how hardware is the new software - Private Markets and Public Markets valuations - What makes a great entrepreneur and investor in Mark’s eyes - Open Source vs Weighted Source Models vs Investing in OpenAI or Anthropic Link to Apple: https://lnkd.in/gRBhASwg Link to Youtube: https://lnkd.in/gCTP5Uag Link to Spotify 🎧: https://lnkd.in/gYMW_rDC

We just got back from SuperReturn Berlin where we had the opportunity to connect with investors from around the world over the course of 3 days. Four themes stood out from our conversations with global LPs and GPs: → Companies are being stress-tested by AI: Are they positioned at the orchestration layer where decisions are made, or are they vulnerable to LLM disruption? → "Tokenomics" is the new watchword: Running AI inference at scale remains prohibitively expensive, and investors are separating companies with sustainable unit economics from those building unsustainable API dependencies. → Historic IPOs are raising the bar to go public: SpaceX just went public at $1.8T. Anthropic and OpenAI will soon follow. The market is trying to model what happens when this capital cycles back. → Exit paths are narrowing, but adapting: Continuation vehicles are now standard tools, not niche solutions. Strategic acquisitions reward differentiated capabilities. And companies that can't clear any bar face prolonged holds. The private markets landscape is being rewritten in real time – investors are dissecting exactly where value accretes and where businesses are exposed. Healthcare is one of the hardest industries to change. Physicians resist new workflows, legacy systems slow adoption, and even the best solutions can struggle to scale. So what does it take to build technology clinicians will actually use? In our latest episode of The BRIGHTON PARKast, Dr. Mark Camel — neurosurgeon and co-founder of one of the most operationally sophisticated independent physician groups in musculoskeletal healthcare — joins Usman Rabbani to share his lessons learned from scaling a seven-surgeon practice into a 175-physician, four-state platform. From early EMR adoption and workflow redesign to AI-powered clinical documentation and healthcare operations, Dr. Camel offers a rare perspective on where technology is creating real value in healthcare — and where founders consistently get it wrong. 🎧 Listen to the full episode: https://lnkd.in/eBhXNjuQ

Five years. Five wins in a row. And this year, a new reason to celebrate. LucidLink has taken home Product of the Year at the NAB Show five consecutive years running. But 2026 hits different. This year's win belongs specifically to LucidLink Connect. Our newest feature that brings real-time file streaming to all of your cloud data - from one unified filespace. The industry agreed this is a ground-breaking innovation, and so did TvTech, who named us Best of Show alongside it. To the teams that dreamed it up, fought for it, and shipped it — this one is yours. And to our customers and partners who continue to believe in LucidLink's work, thank you. Another incredible NAB in the books. Two awards, one unforgettable week, and a team we couldn't be prouder of. #NAB2026 #LucidLink #LucidLinkConnect #ProductOfTheYear

Disagreement, done right, leads to better decisions. In our latest episode of the BRIGHTON PARKast, Drew Pearson, Partner and Portfolio Committee Member at Brighton Park Capital, sits down with Usman Rabbani to discuss what nearly three decades in growth equity has taught him about value creation, risk, and the CEO-investor relationships that actually work. 🎧 Listen to the full episode: https://lnkd.in/e4YN4a7S

When we invested in Orca AI, we believed maritime was one of the most consequential — and underappreciated — frontiers for AI and autonomy. Seeing them ranked #1 on Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in EMEA list is a well-deserved nod to an exceptional team doing exceptional work. Congrats to Yarden Gross, Dor Raviv, and the entire Orca AI team!
Really exciting news: Orca AI ranks #1 on the Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list for EMEA! Nice company to be in, with names like Google, Samsung Electronics, or Anthropic on the list! More importantly, it’s amazing to see the maritime industry starting to be recognized as a space where deep innovation is happening, especially around AI and autonomy. We’re working on hard problems in real, complex environments, and it’s starting to get noticed. Really proud of the team for getting us here, and grateful to everyone building this with us.
