About us

The British Society of Paediatric Dentistry (BSPD) is the national society dedicated to improving the oral health of children from birth to 16. We have more than 600 members who are committed to raising standards in children’s oral health through specialist practice, teaching, research, guidance and advice, both for the profession and parents. The majority of our members are consultants and specialists working in hospitals and community clinics or academics and researchers in universities and dental schools and we now have a growing cohort of members in general dental practice, both GDPs and dental care professionals. We have members around the world and also welcome non dental care professionals with an interest in children’s oral health.
