🏆 From idea to series innovation: Brose is a finalist in the 2026 Automotive News PACE Awards.    A special recognition of our innovative strength: Brose has been named a finalist in the 2026 Automotive News PACE Awards. The award is among the most prestigious honors in the North American automotive supplier industry, recognizing innovative technologies that are already successfully being used in series production.    Our radar-enabled collision avoidance system for automated vehicle doors impressed the expert jury. The solution uses a Peripheral Monitoring Radar (PMR), seamlessly integrated into the vehicle door handle, enabling continuous monitoring of the door’s surroundings and range of motion in real time. It detects obstacles such as vehicles, curbs, children, or animals – even in low-visibility or adverse weather conditions. When a potential collision is identified, the door automatically stops or adjusts its movement to help prevent contact and enhance safety.    We are proud of the teams behind this innovation and delighted to receive this recognition of our development work. Now it’s time to keep our fingers crossed! 🍀 See the full list of 2026 Automotive News PACE Award finalists here: https://lnkd.in/gENfwfWZ   #Brose #ExcellenceInside #PACEAwards #Innovation #Automotive

  • Brose made its debut at AutoSens & InCabin USA 2026, showcasing how advanced sensing technologies are helping shape the future of connected mobility. At the center of our exhibit was a demo vehicle featuring radar-based innovations designed to enhance safety, convenience, and the overall user experience—from powered side door obstacle detection and open-on-approach vehicle access to gesture-controlled tailgate operation and in-cabin occupant detection. The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to connect with customers, technology partners, and industry experts while demonstrating Brose's evolution from individual components to intelligent, integrated systems. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and engaged with our team. We look forward to continuing the conversations that will drive the next generation of mobility. #BuildingExcellenceTogether #AutoSens2026 #InCabinUSA

  • Strong customer interest, valuable conversations and clear market signals 🚀   At the end of May, we took part in the Automotive Engineering Exposition in Yokohama – one of Japan’s most important industry gatherings. Strong demand and a high number of in-depth discussions with leading OEMs and partners such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Yamaha and Aisin show: our technologies meet the requirements of the Japanese market.   Together with Michael Brandstetter, our Executive Vice President Exterior, our CEO Stefan Krug was also on site, actively engaging in direct exchange with key decision-makers: “Especially in Japan, personal interaction, trust and partnership are essential. That’s why it was crucial for us to have very concrete discussions with all relevant stakeholders in Yokohama. Japanese manufacturers are also under significant competitive and innovation pressure, particularly from China. This is exactly where our solutions come in.”   We see particularly strong potential in our #doormodules, innovative #seatingsystems and high-performance solutions for #micromobility. Our strength lies in our system expertise and our ability to integrate holistic solutions.   👉 Our takeaway: With our local presence and broad portfolio, we are well positioned to further strengthen our footprint in the Japanese market.   #Brose #ExcellenceInside #Japan
