Caturus Demonstrates Commonwealth LNG Commitment to Cameron Parish with $1.5 Million Donation to Fire District 10 Caturus, the company developing the Commonwealth LNG facility west of the Calcasieu River near Cameron, has reinforced its long-term commitment to health and safety of the local community with a $1.5 million donation to Johnson Bayou/Holly Beach Fire District 10. The contribution addresses any potential gap in resources anticipated by the Fire District during the construction phase of Commonwealth LNG and further supports first responders who serve residents, businesses and visitors in Southwest Louisiana’s vital coastal communities. “Caturus is focused on making investments in the region that go far beyond our business operations,” said Caturus Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Brian Cain. “We’re committed to being long-term partners in the development and well-being of our neighbors. By supporting public safety, healthcare needs and long-term educational opportunities, we aim to contribute to a thriving, sustainable future for Cameron and the surrounding region.”

  • With Commonwealth LNG celebrating FID, Caturus is now positioned to demonstrate our wellhead-to-water strategy. Caturus upstream operations produce more than 1 billion cubic feet of U.S. natural gas equivalent per day. The Commonwealth LNG project will have the ability to export more than 9.5 million tonnes per annum of liquified natural gas when it begins operations in 2030. The ability to realize international commodity pricing coupled with the optionality to liquefy and deliver resources into domestic or international hubs is game changing and truly makes Caturus unlike any other independent US gas producer. https://lnkd.in/geAS3mmw
