We are pleased to share that Ares Infrastructure Opportunities (AIO) has completed an approximately $1.0 billion preferred equity investment in Caturus’ Commonwealth liquefied natural gas (LNG) project. Commonwealth LNG is a 9.5 mtpa export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana that is expected to be one of the most cost-competitive and efficient LNG projects in the United States. In total, Caturus successfully closed on $9.75 billion in project financing, and we are excited to work alongside their existing sponsors Kimmeridge, Mubadala Energy and CPPIB. Excited to share our participation in the financing of the Commonwealth LNG project, which marks a pivotal moment in Caturus' differentiated wellhead-to-water strategy. We look forward to the partnership with the Caturus team and believe the project will play a meaningful role in the American LNG export ecosystem. Hugely grateful to have worked on this one alongside my very talented colleagues - Julian Schwab, Iona Molland Ameya Singh and Noah Ehrenpreis. Proud of the work we did together to get here.

American LNG is increasingly critical to filling the gaps in global energy markets, making investment in high-quality U.S. export facilities all the more urgent. We are excited to take another step in advancing AIO’s commitment to supporting the long-term, reliable supply of cost-competitive energy. Congratulations to the Caturus team!

Delfin Midstream reached Final Investment Decision (FID) on its first Floating #LNG vessel — the first floating liquefaction facility in the United States. The commitment unlocks construction of Delfin #FLNG 1, backed by investors including BlackRock , Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. , Vitol , and Diameter Capital Partners LP. Black & Veatch plays a central role in bringing this project to life — serving as the prime subcontractor partner to Samsung Heavy Industries, with B&V’s #PRICO liquefaction technology powering the facility along with topsides engineering, procurement, and commissioning. This milestone marks a new model for U.S. LNG exports — offshore floating infrastructure rather than another onshore Gulf Coast complex — and positions the broader Delfin project as one to watch. This project will mark the seventh FLNG project for Black & Veatch and our PRICO liquefaction technology. Congratulations to all the teams involved on reaching this landmark moment for American energy infrastructure. #EnergyInfrastructure #OffshoreEnergy #BlackandVeatch https://lnkd.in/ep3dsUyi

Australia M&A Alert! Amplitude Energy and O.G. Energy have agreed to acquire Beach Energy Ltd’s 60% operated interest in VIC/L35, containing the Artisan gas discovery, in the offshore Otway Basin. Amplitude will acquire 50% and O.G. Energy a further 10% (lifting it from its existing 40% stake), aligning both partners at 50% each. Beach will receive A$70 million (c.US$45 million) in upfront cash on completion, plus a production royalty (A$3.75/GJ or c.US$2.6/Mcf on future production). Completion is expected in Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and the completion of the Artisan development well in June 2026. The deal underscores the Otway Basin’s strategic role in southeast Australia’s supply. Artisan will tie into Amplitude’s Athena Gas Plant in 2028 alongside the 2019 Annie discovery, as part of the East Coast Supply Project. With southeast Australia facing widening seasonal shortfalls and weighing LNG imports via the Port Kembla FSRU, Otway backfill projects like Artisan are increasingly central to keeping the region supplied.
