🌾 Grain on a grand scale! In 1956, CB&I built four steel grain storage tanks for Quaker Oats in St. Joseph, Missouri, adding 1.75 million bushels of storage capacity to the facility. That's enough grain to fill roughly 35,000 semi-truck trailers. A great example of the infrastructure that helped feed a growing nation. #FlashbackFriday #CBIHistory #LegacyOfInnovation #StorageSolutions

In 1970, we were proud to be among the industry sponsors supporting The Blue Flame blasting into record books! Reaching an astonishing 622 mph at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats, it became the fastest land vehicle of its time. Fueled by LNG and powered by rocket technology inspired by the engines used in the Apollo lunar missions, The Blue Flame showcased the possibilities of innovation, engineering excellence, and alternative fuels long before sustainability became a global conversation. #CBI #FlashbackFriday #EngineeringHistory #Innovation #EnergyInnovation

Some partnerships are built to stand the test of time. Our partnership with EnQuest on the Kittiwake asset is one of them. For more than 20 years, we've helped support safe operations - with no LTIs - and contributed to extending the asset's operating life. When our team first stepped onboard the Kittiwake platform as Duty Holder… 📀 DVDs were cutting edge 👥 Facebook didn't exist 📱 The iPhone was years away Today, we're proud to continue that journey, having been awarded the contract to support EnQuest through to the end of the field's life. It's a reflection of what long-term partnerships are built on: trust, consistent delivery, and the people who make safe, reliable operations possible every day. Here's to continuing the journey - right through to the very end. Delivered through our "One Team" approach with GEPetrol, the FEED established a safe, practical and economically viable solution to reconnect stranded subsea wells and return production from existing assets, while providing the project certainty needed to support future investment decisions and progression into the next phase of development. This milestone strengthens our partnership with GEPetrol, secures the long-term future of the Zafiro field and further demonstrates CB&I Asset Solutions' ability to deliver complex energy projects across the region. Congratulations to everyone involved in reaching this important milestone. 👏 #CBIAssetSolutions #Engineering #ProjectDelivery #OneTeam #Energy #WestAfrica

In 1969, while the world celebrated the first flight of the Boeing 747 and the Apollo 11 moon landing, we were making history of our own. We designed and constructed Khazzan No. 1, a massive offshore storage tank with a capacity of 500,000 barrels of crude oil. Standing 205 feet tall, measuring 270 feet in diameter, and weighing 15,000 tons, the structure was an engineering marvel of its time. Built on a stretch of shoreline that became known as Chicago Beach because of the prominent construction crane, the tank was floated 60 miles offshore on a trapped bubble of air before being successfully submerged in the Fateh Oil Field in August 1969. #CBIHistory #FlashbackFriday #EngineeringHistory #Innovation #OffshoreEngineering #ChicagoBeach #Dubai #StorageSolutions

⭐ 𝘌𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. Onboard the Espoir Ivoirien Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel (offshore Côte d'Ivoire) safe and efficient operations are more than hope, they are expected. As a result of demonstrating this priority, our team has celebrated four years LTI free. 📈Since transitioning over 100 new colleagues to Asset Solutions, the local team (also supported by our Aberdeen hub) has delivered a steady stream of complex initiatives to extend the life of the asset, improving efficiency and productivity – in addition to managing complex offtake operations every quarter. This strong safety culture is inherent across our all teams and indicative of our commitment to high standards. Well done! 👏🏻

👩🏻💻 Engineering intelligence is brought to life through the actions of our engineers. Across our projects, this means adapting to challenges, making informed decisions, and delivering practical solutions that keep operations moving. We talked to some of our engineers about a situation where they utilized engineering intelligence to solve a complex challenge: Jincy Johny CEng, FS Eng, Senior Instrument and Control Engineer - “I joined one of our North Sea decommissioning teams in early 2024, where I played a key role in delivering an obsolescence upgrade on a late-life asset. I used my strong technical judgement to redefine the scope, prioritizing high-risk components, workstations, and network switches. This targeted, risk-based approach secured project sanction and enabled successful delivery during the 2025 shutdown, demonstrating a life-cycle approach to mitigating critical operational risk.” Lorielyn Calderon, Process Engineer - “I supported the commissioning of a mining facility during COVID, adapting quickly when travel restrictions prevented key vendors from attending site. By coordinating remotely and stepping in where needed, I helped keep progress on track towards a safe start-up, highlighting the value of flexibility, teamwork and calm decision-making under pressure.” 💡Together, Jincy and Lorielyn demonstrate how engineering intelligence is applied every day; through practical problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork in complex environments, they successfully mitigate critical risks and navigate unforeseen constraints to deliver safe, successful outcomes. #INWED2026 #EngineeringInAction #WomenInEngineering #CBI
