We recently celebrated the groundbreaking of 707 E Main, an adaptive reuse project that will transform the former 20-story Dominion Energy office building in Downtown Richmond into 207 AC Marriott hotel rooms and 288 residential units. Targeting LEED® certification, 707 E Main is also the first project in the city to utilize Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing, reinforcing a strong commitment to sustainable urban revitalization. CBG Gives took the Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park in support of Special Olympics Maryland. ❄️ Eleven team members braved the frigid Chesapeake Bay, raising more than $1,800 to help fund year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We’re proud to give to our communities this holiday season. CBG Gives wrapped up a successful Toys for Tots drive, collecting over 100 gifts for children in need. We also hosted a Donation Raffle to commit $1,000 each to five charities selected by participating employees: Our Amazing Fighters: Supporting children and families in the fight against pediatric cancer Casa Victoria: Providing academic, emotional, and spiritual support for children Humane Society of Loudoun County: Saving and improving the lives of vulnerable animals Friendship Place DC: Empowering individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness CASA DC (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of the District of Columbia): Advocating for abused and neglected children in the DC region Meanwhile, our Florida Gives team participated in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, which helps provide new clothing and toys to children in need. The team made the holidays a little brighter by providing gifts for five foster children in the Tampa area. We recently joined KETTLER for a student tour of all three Gasworx parcels currently under construction. 🏗️ High schoolers rotated through stations to hear directly from each team, learn about careers in construction, and see these projects come to life.
