🎨 Creativity is more than self-expression—it can also support your health and well-being. In honor of National Arts & Health Day, Councilmember Becky Tuttle sat down with CityArts Director Lindsay to talk about how the arts can reduce stress, build connections, and improve our quality of life. Whether you’re an experienced artist or trying something new for the first time, CityArts has something for everyone. 💙 #NationalArtsAndHealthDay #CityArts #WichitaKS

🚒 Fire Station 17 officially welcomed its new Engine 17 into service today with a traditional push-in ceremony. Vice Mayor Dalton Glasscock and Council Member J.V. Johnston joined Wichita Fire Department firefighters and community members to celebrate this long-standing fire service tradition. Dating back to the days of horse-drawn fire wagons, firefighters would work together to push the apparatus back into the station after returning from a call. Today, that tradition continues as a way to honor the past while celebrating the newest apparatus that will help keep Wichita safe. Congratulations to everyone at Station 17! 👏❤️
