The people who pack your CHAOS gear have names, and most of them are in Mesa, Arizona. Every visor and every box of gloves we ship is assembled, labeled, and boxed by hand by the team at Copa Health, a nonprofit that builds real jobs for people with disabilities. More than 16,000 units to date, about 100 of their members on the work, 15 to 22 on the floor on a given day. We didn't outsource this to save a nickel. We did it because Copa does it right, and because the job means something on their end that it wouldn't anywhere else. Sam Henry, Copa's Production Coordinator: "These hands-on experiences have helped our members build confidence, strengthen existing abilities, and gain new skills that support their long-term success and productivity in the workforce." If your company needs packing, kitting, or assembly done in the Valley, work with Copa Health. Your product gets handled with care, and the work goes to people who are proud to do it.

  • At Copa Health, we believe independence starts with access—and sometimes, that begins with something as simple as a bank account. A huge thank you to PNC Bank and its Mobile Branch team for bringing banking directly to one of our housing communities. By meeting our members where they are, PNC helped individuals open bank accounts and access their money—removing barriers that many of us take for granted. For our members, this means more than banking. It means the ability to purchase groceries, household essentials, and other necessities online for home delivery, increasing independence, convenience, and quality of life. This partnership is a powerful reminder that financial inclusion creates opportunities, builds confidence, and strengthens communities. We're grateful to PNC for investing in innovative solutions that empower the people we serve every day. • 🎉 Please join us in congratulating Nikki Ramirez, Copa Health's Senior Director of Real Estate Development, on graduating from LISC Phoenix Housing Development Training Institute (HDTI)! The Housing Development Training Institute equips leaders with the knowledge, technical expertise, and collaborative partnerships needed to develop and preserve affordable housing in Arizona. Through immersive training, participants gain a deeper understanding of housing finance, development, project feasibility, community engagement, and the complexities of creating quality housing solutions that strengthen communities. Nikki's achievement is more than a personal milestone—it's an investment in the future of Copa Health's housing initiatives. As we continue expanding access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for individuals living with behavioral health challenges, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and other complex needs, the knowledge and connections gained through this program will help us develop innovative housing opportunities that create lasting impact. Congratulations, Nikki!
