Catching disease is step one. And follow-up is what protects sight. In a policy model published in npj Digital Medicine, point-of-care autonomous AI increased patient follow-up for diabetic retinopathy compared with remote reading networks. When the result arrives during the visit, the next step is more likely to happen. Read the research: https://lnkd.in/guGSNAay #AutonomousAI #DiabeticRetinopathy #PrimaryCare

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), roughly 60% of adults with diabetes don’t complete their annual eye exam. The pattern is familiar: the exam gets referred out, and life gets in the way. Offering the exam during a visit the patient already has helps more patients get tested. No referral. No second trip. Closing care gaps starts with meeting patients where they already are. Congratulations to University Medical Center New Orleans on expanding same-day access to diabetic retinopathy exams across their Primary Care Centers, which is now the most advanced retinal testing program in LCMC Health! In a community where diabetes rates run high and access to specialty care is often delayed, bringing autonomous AI screening into primary care means more patients get diagnosed earlier and more vision gets saved. That's the mission in action. Thank you to Dr. Jennifer Hart, Ronnique Shavers, Amarachi Osuji, Joseph Schonacher, Mitchell Doyle, and the entire UMC and LCMC Health team for your commitment to taking care of your community. We're proud to support your work. #HealthEquity #DiabeticRetinopathy #AutonomousAI #PrimaryCare #LumineticsCore #DigitalDiagnostics #AItheRightWay

University Medical Center (UMC) is proud to expand access to care with the addition of two retinal screening cameras - creating the most advanced screening program across LCMC Health. Patients can now complete their retinal screening the same day as their Primary Care appointment, improving convenience and continuity of care. #missionmonday 🏥 💙

This weekend, Digital Diagnostics participated in Diabetes Eye Day across several medical centers in Pennsylvania, helping expand access to diabetes-related eye exams in a community-based setting. In just one morning at the Penn Medicine location, ~40 diabetic eye exams were completed with LumineticsCore®. Thank you to the students, faculty, clinical staff, and volunteers who helped make the event possible, and to Andrew Wiech and Jumana for supporting patient care across Pennsylvania. Events like this are a powerful reminder that access matters. Early detection of diabetic eye disease can help patients get the follow-up care they need before vision loss progresses. #DiabetesCare #HealthEquity #AIinHealthcare #PreventBlindness #DigitalDiagnostics #AItheRightWay

AMGA 2026 was a great opportunity to connect with health system and medical group leaders from across the country. One of the highlights: watching attendees experience LumineticsCore® live at the booth. Seeing a fully autonomous AI system return a diabetic retinopathy diagnosis in real time — right there on the exhibit floor — was powerful. If we didn't get a chance to connect, we'd love to start a conversation. Reach out to us at www.digitaldiagnostics.com Thank you to everyone who stopped by! #AMGA2026 #AC26 #DigitalDiagnostics #LumineticsCore #AItheRightWay

Proud to support Cleveland Clinic in expanding access to diabetes-related eye exams. Cleveland Clinic is rethinking how diabetes-related eye exams are delivered by embedding autonomous AI directly into primary care and endocrinology visits.
AI is reshaping diabetic retinopathy detection. Fundus cameras can now identify disease earlier and more efficiently. This shift brings screening closer to patients and helps prevent avoidable vision loss. More about the technology: https://cle.clinic/4v1X8W9
