50 years means five decades of events, partnerships, innovation, and, most importantly, the people who make it all happen. Today we're featuring Olivia Hui Andersen, Member Services & Partnership Fulfillment Coordinator, who joined the Fusion team last summer. From supporting members to fulfilling partnership benefits, Olivia helps keep the details running smoothly so our clients, partners, and team can focus on building meaningful connections. 1️⃣ If you had to describe Fusion in three words, what would they be? “Collaborative. Evolving. Inspiring” 2️⃣ When you think about your experience with Fusion, what moment stands out the most and why? “One thing that stands out most to me is how hardworking and service-minded everyone at Fusion is. Every client has different challenges, and I love seeing how our team comes together to find solutions that truly help them. Being part of that environment has inspired me to keep learning and take on new responsibilities. Looking back, it's rewarding to see how much I've grown in confidence and experience while working alongside such a dedicated team.” 3️⃣ What makes Fusion different from other organizations in this space? “For me, it's the people. Fusion continues to grow and take on new opportunities, but it still feels like a team where everyone is approachable and willing to help. That kind of culture makes it easier to collaborate, learn from each other, and do great work together.” 4️⃣ Looking ahead, what excites you most about where Fusion is going? “I'm excited to see Fusion continue growing and finding new ways to support our clients and partners. I'm also looking forward to learning more myself, taking on new challenges, and contributing even more as we continue to grow together.” #Fusion50 #50Stories #Team

"The only thing constant is change, right?" After 50 years, we couldn't agree more. As our organization has grown and evolved, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to helping organizations and leaders adapt, connect, and move forward. As Sue Wallace, Fusion Board Chair, shares: "Fusion has adapted well in the past, built off of a really solid foundation, and I think we're prepared for the next chapter." Submissions are open for awards that will be presented at the 2026 GovIT Leadership Summit & Symposium. We have 3 to choose from: 1️⃣Golden GOVIT - recognizes those that have advanced government technology through collaboration, innovation, service, and individual leadership 2️⃣PTI Solutions (PTI members only) - recognizes technology achievements in local government 3️⃣Alan R. Shark Leadership Award (PTI members only) - recognizes an execeptional local government tech leader So throw your team's hat in the ring. And tell them to throw your hat in there too. We want to see all the hats. By the way, submissions are free and you can even submit for multiple awards! As we celebrate 50 years of bringing people together, we're highlighting the people whose passion, dedication, and perspectives continue to shape Fusion's future. Today we're featuring our Event Manager, Ian Jordan. Ian plays a key role in planning and executing the conferences, meetings, and events that bring our communities together. 1️⃣ If you had to describe Fusion in three words, what would they be? Understanding. Caring. Passionate. 2️⃣ When you think about your experience with Fusion, what moment stands out the most and why? "Our second year hosting the GOVIT Leadership Summit & Symposium at the JW Marriott. After navigating the growing pains of a new venue the first year, everything clicked. Everything felt smooth. The team was firing on all cylinders - everyone was supporting each other, communicating, and making every piece come together flawlessly. In the words of the great Ted Lasso, 'Barbecue Sauce.' That is when I fully realized how special our organization is." 3️⃣ What makes Fusion different from other organizations in this space? "We're a small but mighty team (cliché, I know). It always amazes me how much we're able to accomplish. With a few people and a lot of willpower, we consistently deliver experiences that rival - and often exceed - those of much larger organizations." 4️⃣ Looking ahead, what excites you most about where Fusion is going? "The growing national awareness of GOVIT and the synergy between Public Technology Institute (PTI) and Western Regional Innovation and Technology Alliance (WRITA) create exciting opportunities. Our team is constantly improving and never resting on our laurels. Many say 'you are only ever as good as your last showing,' but we demonstrate that no matter how good our last showing was - just wait until you see the next one. #Fusion50 #50Stories #Team

Strong partnerships don't just help organizations run smoothly. They create experiences people remember. As we celebrate 50 years of Fusion, we're highlighting the clients and programs that have been part of our journey. Today we're featuring the Minnesota School Nutrition Association (MSNA), which has partnered with Fusion since 2022. For MSNA leaders Glen Ritter, SNS, MSNA President and Director of Food Service at St. Michael-Albertville Schools, and Ashley Schneider, President-Elect and Director of Food & Nutrition Services for Moorhead Area Public Schools, what stands out most isn't just the day-to-day support, but the partnership created. From strategic board retreats to memorable team-building activities like axe throwing and escape rooms, Fusion has helped create opportunities for board members to build stronger relationships while having fun along the way. Those connections carry forward into the important work MSNA does to serve school nutrition professionals across Minnesota. Ashley says what makes Fusion different is that they act as a true partner, taking the time to understand MSNA's mission, culture, and goals while proactively finding ways to strengthen the organization. And when asked what excites her most about Fusion's future, she shared: "What excites me most is their continued commitment to innovation while staying focused on the needs of the organizations they serve. They are always looking for ways to improve processes, embrace new ideas, and strengthen member engagement. Their forward-thinking approach, combined with their dedication to building strong partnerships, gives me confidence that they will continue to help associations grow, adapt, and thrive for years to come." We're grateful to MSNA for trusting Fusion as your association management partner and for allowing us to support the incredible work you do for Minnesota's school nutrition community. Here's to building stronger organizations (and having a little fun together along the way). #Fusion50 #50Stories #AssociationManagement #ClientStory #Partnership

As we celebrate 50 years, we're proud to share the stories, experiences, and perspectives of the people who have shaped our journey. Today, we're spotlighting Cathy Hart, a valued Fusion Board Member. Cathy joined our Board in 2021 and is now serving the final year of her consecutive terms. She served as Board Chair from 2023-2026. With decades of experience as a nonprofit executive, Cathy has brought deep expertise in nonprofit governance. From strengthening Board policies and procedures to leading annual governance training for Board members, her leadership has helped build a stronger foundation for our organization. 1️⃣ If you had to describe Fusion in three words, what would they be? Connective, Educational, Strategic 2️⃣ When you think about your experience with Fusion, what moment stands out the most and why? It's been incredibly rewarding to watch the many ways that Fusion has supported the public sector and IT community, through education, training, consulting services, events, and association management. Watching people connect to and learn from each other, as well as seeing how public sector organizations can better support their communities, have been the most rewarding moments. 3️⃣ What makes Fusion different from other organizations in this space? Fusion is in a unique position to provide broad-scale connectivity, education, and industry perspective, and is especially skilled at connecting individuals and organizations to one another for broader community benefit. As a non-profit, Fusion is fueled by improving public sector capabilities more broadly, versus pushing its own bottom line. 4️⃣ Looking ahead, what excites you most about where Fusion is going? Fusion is poised to expand its impact nationally, continue the excellence of its core programming and services, and facilitate strategic and forward-looking learning across the public sector. #50Stories #Fusion50 #Team

Happy Fourth of July! ❤️🤍💙 As we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary, we're reminded that while we're celebrating 50 years of service this year, our story is just a small part of a much larger one. For 250 years, the United States has faced challenges, adapted to change, and continued moving forward through the strength of its people and communities. Over the past five decades, we've embraced that same spirit in helping organizations navigate change, build resilience, and create stronger futures together. As you celebrate this holiday weekend, we hope you take time to reflect on the milestones that brought us here and look ahead to what we can accomplish together. #Fusion50 #America250
