For the second time in five years, IEWC has been named a Future 50 company by BizTimes Media and MMAC, recognizing the fastest-growing privately-owned companies in southeastern Wisconsin. At IEWC, that growth looks like expanded control panel manufacturing at our New Berlin headquarters, more than 220 new jobs in the region, and investment in the local workforce through apprenticeships. As our President and CEO Mike Veum put it, IEWC has been a people-first company since 1962. That hasn't changed as we've grown from our Wisconsin roots into a global business, and it's what will keep us growing. 🔗 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g787-S-F

IEWC recently cut the ribbon on our expanded manufacturing facility at our world headquarters in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This expansion into control panel manufacturing has added more than 120 new jobs to our team, with more than 100 roles still open. More than half of these positions are based in Wisconsin, strengthening our local workforce and welcoming more people into our award-winning culture. Our apprenticeship programs, workforce partnerships, and nationally recognized workplace culture have helped create long-term opportunity for Wisconsin workers and their families, and we're proud to continue this momentum. Thank you to U.S. Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05), Wisconsin State Representative Dave Maxey (R-New Berlin), MMAC, Waukesha County Business Alliance, Waukesha County Technical College, Milwaukee Area Technical College, the City of New Berlin, Employee-Owned S Corporations of America (ESCA), and everyone who took part in celebrating this exciting milestone at our headquarters. "Wisconsin has long been a leader in employee ownership, and companies like IEWC demonstrate how this model strengthens our manufacturing workforce by promoting employee longevity, productivity, and long-term financial security." Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) joined ESCA member IEWC CEO Mike Veum in New Berlin, Wisconsin to celebrate the expansion of its control panel manufacturing operation. Since January, IEWC has added more than 120 jobs, with 90 based in Wisconsin, and is actively hiring for more than 100 open roles, all backed by the company's commitment to growing employee ownership in the state. We appreciate Congressman Fitzgerald's continued advocacy for employee ownership on Capitol Hill and his recognition of what companies like IEWC are building for Wisconsin workers.
