Coherence matters — especially right now. 💙 In this conversation with the Learning Counsel, Sari Factor and Jason Fournier explore why high-quality instructional materials work best when they’re implemented with intention, thoughtfully supported by AI, and designed to reduce teacher workload. From avoiding classroom fragmentation to building AI tools that are grounded in learning science and embedded directly into the curriculum, this discussion gets at a critical question: how do we keep education human while using technology responsibly? If you're curious about where coherence and AI literacy fit into the future of teaching, this one's worth a listen. 🎧

Imagine Learning is proud to announce the 2025–2026 Imagine Nation Award winners. We're recognizing schools and districts that demonstrate exceptional implementation and a strong commitment to student growth. 👏 Out of more than 42,000 eligible schools and districts, 293 have been named Schools of Excellence or Districts of Distinction — representing meaningful engagement with Imagine Learning programs. This year, we also introduced the Apex District Award, honoring six districts nationwide that exemplify the highest level of success across multiple schools and programs. These districts represent the pinnacle of product implementation, usage, and measurable student impact. 🌠 As Kinsey Rawe, EVP and Chief Product Officer, shared: “Their success shows what’s possible when strong instruction, high-quality curriculum, and actionable insight come together in the classroom.” Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees for setting the standard for excellence in education. What does it take to move from possibility to impact in education? 🧐 Following ASU+GSV Summit, Sari Factor reflects on four key tensions shaping the conversation around AI, instruction, and system-wide change. Sari's perspective highlights a critical reality today — advancing education isn’t only about new tools or bold ideas. It’s about aligning curriculum, instruction, and implementation in ways that support meaningful, lasting change. 🌠 Explore her full reflection, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Last week at ASU+GSV was a whirlwind! Like every year, there was no shortage of bold predictions about technology, AI, and the future of education. I've been pondering the tensions — between what’s possible and how to achieve the impact we seek for all learners from where schools are today. I reflect on four of these tensions here. Curious how others are thinking about these same dynamics in your own systems and organizations.

🤓 With Twig Science, students explore real-world STEM challenges through the lens of authentic STEM careers — like hydrologists — with learning experiences informed by our partnership with Imperial College London. At this year's National Science Teaching Association conference, National Curriculum Consultant Cameron Barger models a 5th-grade lesson on how students build watershed models to investigate how contaminants like oil, litter, and pesticides move through local water systems and what that means for protecting freshwater sources. Our Twig Science curriculum includes hands-on investigations, student-designed models, interactive workbooks, and high-quality videos produced in our own studio. ✨ Each lesson helps students gather evidence, make sense of real-world phenomena, and think like scientists. 💡 #NSTASpring26 #NSTA
