At Fever, we've always believed in the power of live experiences to bring people together. Today, that mission takes on a deeper meaning. In response to the recent devastating earthquakes, our team launched Candlelight for Venezuela—a special global series of concerts dedicated entirely to raising funds for those affected by the tragedy. 🇻🇪 Proceeds will go toward relief efforts on the ground through incredible organizations Hogar Bambi Venezuela and TECHO Venezuela. Nekeita describes herself as an "adventure writer." At 52, she is a breast cancer survivor, an aspiring author, a grandmother, and a traveler who uses the Instawork platform to explore the United States. During her treatment, she wrote “The Meeting of Red,” a children's book about her stuffed animal, Red, designed to help her granddaughter navigate a difficult time. 📖 Nekeita has worked shifts through Instawork in Jacksonville, Savannah, Atlanta, and throughout Maryland. She balances work with family visits and local exploration of historical sites, documenting her visits to museums and interesting places on Instagram and Facebook. 📷 Her recent roles highlight her versatility; she has managed crowd control at Usher and Chris Brown concerts, worked as a caterer and server, assisted with event setup, and even served as an auction driver. She approaches every day ready for whatever new challenge the work might bring. 🧑💼 For Nekeita, every day is an opportunity to learn something new and meet new people.
