J29 recently finished up our "Step Into Summer" challenge, a six-week step competition for employees across the company. As apart of this challenge, J29, Inc. pledged a $25 donation to the Girls on the Run International non-profit for every 100,000 steps that were taken by participating J29 employees. With a staggering 9,475,295 total steps from 61 participating employees, J29 is proud to announce a $2,368 donation to Girls on the Run International. Girls on the Run is a 30 year-old national non-profit organization that designs programs that strengthens third- to eighth-grade girls’ social, emotional, physical and behavioral skills to successfully navigate life experiences.

J29 is proud to be sponsoring & attending the HIMSS NCA (National Capital Area) Chapter's June 18th event on "Mission-Ready Program Integrity: Modernized Health IT to Protect Federal Dollars and Patient Trust". Additionally, J29's CEO and Founder, Tracy Mills, will be speaking at the event. This event will be focusing on how federal health organizations are leveraging existing IT assets, progressing through modernization strides, or innovation response efforts related to their respective program integrity missions. Joining the panel discussion will be speakers from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, HHS Office of Inspector General, Defense Health Agency, DC Department of Health, and HIMSS.

Earlier this calendar year, J29, Inc.'s philanthropy efforts and community focuses received a recognition that means a great deal to our team. One of our nonprofit partners, Tides of Grace, named their newly founded Crisis Room after J29 in recognition of our support. While the dedication is meaningful, what matters most is what happens inside that room - a place where people can find help, hope, and a path forward. The J29 Crisis Room is open every Thursday from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., offering essentials to the community including hygiene items, household goods, food, baby supplies, clothing, and more, sponsored by J29, Inc. We’re proud to support Tides of Grace in their mission to serve others with compassion and care. Early this year, J29, Inc. was proud to have two award winners for the FORUM 'Disruptive Tech Awards' and FORUM 'Foundation Awards' - Kathrine K. and Beth R. (CF, APMP), respectively. This Memorial Day, and throughout this month's recognition of Military Appreciation Month, J29, Inc. pauses to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We also recognize the strength, dedication, and commitment of all who have served. At J29, we are proud to support our military community, including the many veterans and families who are part of our team and mission. We are grateful for your service, your sacrifice, and the freedoms you protect every day.

Supporting program integrity across federal healthcare programs is central to J29, Inc.’s mission. Over the past couple of months now, the J29 Team has been well into operations and has been serving as the Recovery Auditor Validation Contractor (RVC) for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) under a recently awarded $17.2M prime contract, responsible for reviewing and analyzing RAC claim determinations to ensure they are accurate, compliant, and clinically sound. This work plays an important role in strengthening accountability across the Medicare Fee-for-Service program, advancing CMS’ efforts to reduce improper payments, and helping protect the Medicare Trust Fund.
