Happy National Intern Day! Today, L&P celebrates the talented interns who have helped shape, and continue to shape, our organization. This summer, we welcomed 20 interns across five countries, three business units, and 12 functions. From day one, they have brought fresh perspectives, valuable contributions, and enthusiasm to our teams. In late June, our Davidson Plyforms branch opened its doors to host an OSHA 30-hour certification course led by Kenny Gay, EHS Manager, and Bobby Haddix, Senior EHS Specialist. Employees from various roles in our Work Furniture, Home Furniture, and Flooring Products businesses came together to complete the training and earn their OSHA 30-hour accreditation. Their participation reflects our commitment to putting people first and building a strong safety culture. "Putting people first means investing in their safety and knowledge," says Bobby. "By ensuring our team is OSHA 30-hour trained, we provide them with the ability to create a safer work environment for everyone. This commitment reflects our belief that every employee deserves to go home safe at the end of each day."
