The GenAI video debate keeps asking whether the shots look real. The better question is whether the video actually works. Our co-founder and CEO, Hope Horner, makes the case in a new Fast Company piece: production experience is the part of the GenAI video conversation everyone's leaving out. A generated clip still has to become a finished piece of creative, one that communicates clearly, feels like the brand, survives stakeholder review, and holds up in the campaign it was built for. That takes judgment AI doesn't supply on its own: knowing which output to keep, catching the small inconsistencies before they become distractions, and recognizing when something is technically fine but subtly off-brand. AI changes the tools in our hands. It doesn't remove the need to translate brand goals into real creative decisions. More video used to mean more budget, more time, and more people. That math is breaking. Our co-founder and CEO, Hope Horner, wrote a new piece for Entrepreneur on how AI is letting entrepreneurs expand their video marketing without expanding their budget or their bandwidth. The core shift is economic. The same budget that once funded a single polished asset can now fund an entire content system: a core video, cutdowns, paid social variations, and platform-specific edits. And when producing more costs less, teams get room to actually test. That means experimenting with hooks, audiences, and formats instead of betting everything on one "big" video. Hope's take for teams still on the sidelines? The economics have already shifted. The brands winning are the ones building AI into their process on purpose. In the wellness space, attention is everything. ✨ You have seconds to communicate what your product does, why it matters, and why someone should care. That's the challenge we took on for our latest video ad with Orgain, spotlighting their Collagen line and its benefits for skin, hair, nails, and joints. The solution? Clean, vibrant visuals paired with a punchy, memorable tagline: your daily dose of glow. No fluff. No filler. Just aspirational, approachable storytelling that lands in a matter of seconds.

AI is changing what’s possible in video production, but it’s not replacing the part that matters most: human judgment. The creative decisions still matter. Brand nuance, feedback, taste, and knowing when something is almost right versus actually right are the layers that still need human expertise. AI can save time. People still shape the story. Our CEO and co-founder, Hope Horner, recently joined Valerie Riley on Insightly CRM by Unbounce’s Closing Time podcast to talk about where AI can genuinely help teams move faster, from storyboards and call sheets to asset generation and editing workflows. 🎧 Watch the episode + dig into the full breakdown: https://lnkd.in/e3X4WHqV ▶️ Or watch on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/eS47vNyb

AI video isn't a magic button, and that's exactly why marketers should be paying attention. Our co-founder and CEO, Hope Horner, joined Valerie Riley on Insightly CRM by Unbounce's Closing Time podcast to break down where AI is genuinely creating opportunities in video production, and where human judgment still makes or breaks the final cut. A few takeaways from the conversation: → AI shines in storyboarding, stylized B-roll, and scenes that are too expensive or impractical to shoot (yes, including a skydiver 🪂) → Versioning is a quick win, turn one long-form video into dozens of social-ready clips → Where humans still lead: nuanced performance, brand accuracy, and the taste and judgment layer that separates "almost right" from "actually right" Hope's advice for teams who haven't started yet? Pick a focused use case, set clear expectations, and just try it. 🎧 Watch the episode + dig into the full breakdown: https://lnkd.in/e3X4WHqV ▶️ Or watch on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/eS47vNyb #AIVideo #VideoMarketing #MarketingStrategy #ContentCreation #GenAI

The industry is obsessed with scale, reach, and squeezing every dollar of efficiency. And yes, that matters. But it’s not always what breaks through. We asked Laurie Keith, Sr. Vice President of Emerging Media and Technology at Ad Council, what marketing belief everyone repeats that she largely disagrees with. Her answer was a reminder that in an AI-driven world flooded with content, consumers can instantly tell what feels generic, forced, or overly manufactured. The work that actually moves people to action is creative that feels human, authentic, and sticky. And in social impact, where the goal is not just awareness but real behavior change, that distinction matters even more. #MarketingStrategy #EmergingMedia #SocialImpact #AdCouncil #VideoMarketing

Speed is no longer the constraint. Consistency and governance are. Our CRO and Co-founder Chad Rogers moderated this conversation at the AI & Innovation Summit in NYC, hosted by IBM. A sharp look at where global content operations are headed: as production gets easier, brand protection only gets harder. Big thank you to Brand Innovators for another insightful conversation!
At our AI & Innovation #BISummit, hosted by IBM in New York City, the conversation turned to a question every global brand is now facing: what happens to quality and control when content can be produced at near-infinite scale? PepsiCo's Kate Brady, HP's Fabio Ranieri and Liz Merrilees Emlay and Lemonlight's Chad Rogers explored how automation and machine learning are streamlining content creation, localization, versioning and governance across global markets. The discussion wasn't about producing more. It was about producing smarter. As generative tools collapse the cost and time of making content, the hard problems shift downstream, to how thousands of versions stay on-brand, on-message and compliant across dozens of markets at once. Speed is no longer the constraint. Consistency and governance are. The result was a clear-eyed look at the new shape of content operations—and a reminder that as production gets easier, the work of protecting the brand only gets harder. 📢 Follow us on Instagram to stay in the loop & get live event updates! 📸: https://lnkd.in/gMtBFhTE

Last week, our CEO Hope Horner joined Beverly Jackson (VP of Brand and Product Marketing at Zillow Group) and Shawn Spooner (Global CTO at Billups) on stage at the Brand Innovators AI & Innovation Summit in Seattle, hosted by Zillow. The panel was called "Where Culture Is Going Next: And How to Get There First," and the conversation was sharper than the title suggests. The moderator opened with a confession: before the prep call, she'd fed both panelists' LinkedIn profiles into Claude and asked it to write the run of show. The questions it gave back were beautifully written. Ten polished, conference-ready prompts about AI as a remix engine and cultural velocity. Then they actually had the prep call, and the conversation went somewhere completely different. That's what the panel kept circling on stage: what AI misses, and what only humans catch. A few takeaways from Hope's contributions: → The economics of video production just flipped. What used to take six to eight weeks now takes two, at roughly 60% less cost. Most brands are still operating on the old assumptions. → AI without creative direction is generic. AI with it wins. The brands shipping hollow work right now didn't just adopt AI. They cut the creative direction layer that should have stayed in charge of it. → The win isn't AI vs. humans. It's finding where they fit together. All humans are inefficient. All AI lacks quality. The brands getting this right are building workflows where each does what it's good at. The brands winning the next three years won't be the ones using AI most aggressively. They'll be the ones using it most thoughtfully, with a clear answer to the question: what's this actually for? Thanks to the panelists and Brand Innovators for a sharp conversation. #AI #BrandStrategy #VideoMarketing #BrandInnovators

Most video teams design graphics to sit on top of a shot. Generative AI lets you build them into it. Lemonlight's GenAI Creator and Editor Alexander Rydell walks through how to prompt text, logos, and graphics directly into a video. The technique works for AI builds and traditional productions alike, opening up new ways to bring branded elements into the world of the scene rather than layering them on top of it. A rugged cowboy. The open frontier. …or so you think. Our latest work for Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC takes a classic American trope and flips it on its head. A fun reminder that great storytelling doesn’t always need a massive setting. Big shoutout to the entire Lemonlight team that brought this one to life. Marissa High, Heather Shapiro, Erin O'Mara, J.
