National Apartment Association (Naahq)'s Apartmentalize 2026 was one for the books, and we were glad to have Mayroad leasing and maintenance team members from across our installations be part of it.    Between educational sessions, industry conversations, and connecting with peers from across the country, our team came back with fresh perspectives and a lot of energy.    Beyond the learning, there was plenty of fun had - and we're already looking forward to next year. 

This year at the National Apartment Association (Naahq)'s Apartmentalize conference, two of our team members had the opportunity to take the stage as panelists. Sharon Shores and Kim Cariker each joined separate panels, bringing their expertise in military family housing to national conversations that matter.    Sharon joined Douglas Jones, CPM (WinnCompanies) and Starla Miller, ARM®, CDPM™ (Balfour Beatty) for "Quality Under Pressure", a session exploring how housing providers maintain service standards amid rising scrutiny, compliance demands, and shifting resident expectations.    Kim joined Jamie Taylor (Liberty), Odeyssa Douglas (WinnCompanies), and Robyn Mack, APRᐩM (Corvias) for a session on what it truly takes to serve military families, focusing on how to build trust, consistency, and compassion into property management and how those lessons can strengthen any community that supports people living under the unique demands of military life.    We're grateful to have two incredible voices from our team at the table for these discussions.
