Really proud of the Mbodi AI team and grateful for the conversations in Chicago. Thank you Automate Show and A3 for the amazing #Automate2026 opportunity!
Big congratulations to Mbodi AI, the winner of the #Automate2026 Startup Challenge! 🎉🤖 Mbodi is taking on one of automation’s biggest hurdles: making robots easier to deploy, train, and adapt in real-world environments. Their platform allows users to teach industrial robots new tasks through natural language and simple demonstrations, dramatically reducing the time, expertise, and effort traditionally required for robot programming and integration. As manufacturers look for greater flexibility and faster paths to deployment, solutions like this have the potential to make automation more accessible than ever. The competition was incredibly strong, and the Mbodi team delivered an outstanding presentation to earn the top spot. Congratulations to the entire Mbodi team on a well-deserved win! 🚀 #Automate2026 #Robotics #Automation #PhysicalAI

We’re at Automate in Chicago this week. The Mbodi team will be demoing our new mobile pedestal setup live at booth 20155. If you’re walking the floor, come by, meet the team, and see what we’ve been building. We’re also excited to be part of the Automate Startup Challenge and to share our work with the robotics and automation community. See you at booth 20155. #Automate2026 #Robotics #AI #Automation #Mbodi

What a memorable week in Tokyo for Humanoids Summit 2026. It was great to present our work on AI agents for robotics. One thing was very clear from the conversations across the week: Physical AI is no longer just a research topic but an industrial priority. The path to real deployment requires more than better hardware. There is still a major gap between frontier AI capabilities and robots that can actually work inside factories, warehouses, and production lines. That bridge requires systems that can understand messy real-world scenes, learn new tasks, adapt across workflows, and still run reliably enough for production. That is the problem we are focused on at Mbodi AI. It was inspiring to see the depth of the ecosystem in Asia, with leaders and builders across Google DeepMind, Honda, Toyota Motor Corporation, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, FieldAI, Sanctuary AI, Boston Dynamics, McKinsey & Company, and many others coming together around the future of Physical AI. Excited to keep building with customers, partners, and the broader physical AI community. Thank you to Modar Alaoui, Lisa Her, Jesica Chavez 🤖🎙️, Brittany Arthur, and the Humanoids Summit team for organizing a great event, and to everyone we had the chance to meet in Tokyo.

We’re hiring a Founding Software Engineer in New York City. Mbodi is building the software layer that lets industrial robots learn new skills from instruction in minutes instead of weeks of hand-tuning. This role sits at the core of the platform: real-time world modeling, distributed agent orchestration, robot interfaces, deterministic runtime execution, and the APIs operators use to understand what the system is doing. We’re looking for someone with strong systems instincts, especially around concurrency, correctness, observability, and performance-critical software. The work spans Python agent orchestration, TypeScript interfaces, and C runtime components that turn design-time reasoning into low-latency robot behavior. You’ll work directly with the founders and own systems that ship into customer environments. The right person has seen real production failure modes, cares about clean abstractions, and wants to build software that has to work in the physical world. If you’re excited by physical AI, agents, distributed systems, and hard execution problems, we’d love to hear from you. Apply here: https://lnkd.in/eY6T8p5w

Great to see Sebastian representing Mbodi at NY Tech Week. Conversations like this are a good reminder of how much work still happens between a strong demo and systems that can be useful in the real world. #AI #Robotics
Great morning at NY Tech Week yesterday. It was a pleasure to be part of Beyond the Terminal: Building AI for the Real World and share ideas with Kimberly Sablon, PhD, Kurt Hackenberger, and Sherman Williams II on where AI is heading once it moves into more physical, unpredictable environments. Thank you to AIN Ventures for the invitation and to everyone who joined the conversation. #NYTechWeek #Robotics

We’re hiring a Founding Research / ML Engineer at Mbodi AI. Mbodi builds physical AI that lets robots learn and operate like humans. In the coming decades, much of the world’s hardest manual work will be automated with robots. We’re building the intelligence layer to make that happen in real factories and warehouses. We’re looking for someone exceptional across ML, robotics, and real-world deployment, with high agency and a strong sense of ownership. Ping me if you or someone great comes to mind. Role details in the comments.
