✨ News from the Motive Partners Ecosystem Financial infrastructure is becoming increasingly complex. Every new payment rail, ledger, compliance system, and AI workflow creates another layer of operational complexity – and another opportunity for institutions to lose visibility across how money actually moves. That's why we're excited to announce that Motive Partners, through our Venture platform, has co-led Cordant's $8 million Seed round alongside Oak HC/FT. Cordant is building a command center for modern financial infrastructure, giving banks, fintechs, payment companies, and financial infrastructure providers a shared operational view across fragmented systems without replacing existing infrastructure or moving funds. The company has already: • Developed the platform with 11 design partners across banking, payments, embedded finance, stablecoins, and digital assets (based on company-reported data) • Secured strategic investment and partnerships from Bitso and Paxos • Built a platform designed to give institutions the operational visibility and governance required before deploying AI into regulated workflows Our conviction is reinforced by the strong founder-market fit. Having previously helped scale Rapyd across more than 50 countries and over 100 partner integrations, Eric Rosenthal, Juan Jose Huezo, Lior Levit, and Sagi Ittah have experienced firsthand the operational challenges Cordant is solving. This investment reflects our continued belief that the future of financial services will be defined not only by new payment rails and AI, but by the infrastructure that enables institutions to operate across them with confidence. Congratulations to the entire Cordant team – we're excited to partner with you and the value creation opportunity ahead! Motive Partners Featured on Capital Connect Podcast Motive Partners Industry Partner Paul Walker joined Ben Haber on the latest episode of Capital Connect to explore one of the most significant opportunities shaping the future of wealth management: expanding access to private markets through scalable financial infrastructure. Drawing on decades of experience leading technology at Goldman Sachs and now working alongside Motive portfolio companies, Paul shared why the industry's biggest challenge isn't building better technology, rather it's building the networks, operating models, and standards that allow private market investing to scale. The conversation explored how InvestCloud, Inc., a Motive portfolio company, is tackling this challenge by rethinking the infrastructure required to bring private assets into model portfolios and is designed to help wealth managers deliver broader investment opportunities to clients while maintaining the operational rigor the market demands. The discussion also turned to artificial intelligence and its rapidly growing role in financial services. Paul shared his view that AI is fundamentally changing the way software is developed and financial infrastructure is built, not by replacing strategy or expertise, but by accelerating execution and enabling teams to solve increasingly complex problems. His perspective reinforces a broader theme at Motive: lasting innovation comes from combining deep domain expertise with transformative technology. Tune in to hear Paul's insights on the evolution of private markets, the future of financial infrastructure, and, in Paul's view, why the next wave of fintech innovation will be driven as much by industry collaboration as by technology itself. 🎙️ Listen here: https://lnkd.in/g46bAMi8 At Motive Partners, we believe financial technology is a powerful force reshaping every segment of the global economy.
