Our latest InGaAs Avalanche Photo Diode offers performance for 🚀 Long Range Optical Sensing  When designing long‑range optical systems, an InGaAs APD with a large active diameter area provides a significant benefit compared to devices with smaller active areas.   Our APX‑NG000XAPD series features active area diameters up to 500 µm. It boosts LiDAR performance by capturing more reflected photons, allowing greater alignment tolerance flexibility, which directly increases signal strength and extends sensing distance in low‑SNR conditions.  Key Highlights 🔴 0.2mm, 0.4mm, and 0.5mm active area diameters 🔴 High avalanche gain, up to 25x 🔴 Low noise for accurate detection in low‑light environments 🔴 Fast response times for real‑time sensing and ranging 🔴 Operates from 40V to <80V (typical 55V bias) Where it fits • Optical comms receivers and ToF/LiDAR modules- requiring fast impulse response and higher SNR in NIR • Low-light detection in constrained SWaP designs across harsh environments For 1.55 µm links, range-finding or low-photon-flux diagnostics, the APX NG000XAPD family offers high sensitivity in a compact design.
