We're proud to support Hard Hat Awareness Week 2026, a national campaign dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of head protection across construction and industry. Every year, thousands of workers rely on PPE to help keep them safe in challenging environments. Yet head injuries remain a serious concern, particularly when incidents go unnoticed, unreported or are underestimated. As part of this year's campaign, we revisited one of our Safety Shorts featuring Hard Hat Awareness Week founder Chris Tidy and Quin Founder and CEO Anirudha Surabhi. Their discussion highlights why head protection is about more than meeting compliance requirements. It's about understanding risk, improving awareness and helping people get home safely at the end of the day. At Quin, we believe safety equipment should do more than provide physical protection. This week, we are sharing a new Safety Shorts series. The series features a conversation between Daniel Birch, Category Manager at PIP Global Safety , and Anirudha Surabhi, Founder and CEO of Quin. The focus is on real-world safety challenges and how the industry is evolving to address them. Across three short episodes, they explore the reality of workplace risk, how PPE is changing, and where safety is heading next. This month the Quin team had the pleasure of attending the German Design Awards in Frankfurt to collect our award for Excellent Product Design for the Quin Pod and take part in the ceremony and show. Being recognised in this way isn’t just about a trophy, it highlights an important shift in how safety technology is designed, valued, and integrated into everyday protective gear. Intelligent, unobtrusive design that works seamlessly in real-world environments and supports meaningful safety outcomes - is now being celebrated alongside innovation in other design fields. We are thrilled to share that the 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗱, 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗴 have been shortlisted at the 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in two categories: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 and 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴. 🏆 The shortlist recognises the entire Quin System within PPE, supporting faster and more informed medical response when accidents occur, improved incident visibility and better safety decision-making on construction sites.
