We ❤️ doulas! Last Thursday, we were thrilled to host the “Doula Dialogues: A Community Doula Event” on at the Stephen Adubato Center at Branch Brook Park in Newark. The event was packed with doulas and representatives from 14 community-based programs and organizations to learn, network, and share resources.    A big thank you to Dr. Alexandra Ward, MD, MS, FACC, FASE, who led an engaging discussion on supporting perinatal cardiovascular health, and Partnership doula graduates, Samyra Pleasant and Cheryl Singletary, presented on “Building Your Doula Practice.”    We're also grateful to Lucy Arnett, prenatal and postpartum yoga instructor and Partnership doula graduate, who provided the audience with a demonstration of stretches and positions to support families and birth workers. We ❤️ volunteers! We had a fantastic morning in Dover today with volunteers from Valley Bank! Jennifer Quintero, Michele Chambers, and Sumedha Rao joined us to help make baskets for our upcoming community baby shower in Morris County. We are grateful for their time and dedication. The baskets look fabulous and will provide greatly needed items to new moms. 🎉

We had a fun evening at the Midsummer Night's Networking Event last night at our Secaucus Office! We were thrilled to host this event with the New Jersey Public Health Association (NJPHA) to bring 70 public health professionals and graduate students together for a night of conversation and connections. Public health professionals don’t just talk about change; they make it happen!
