IMPORTANT ACTION FOR YOU YIMBY fans who want more affordable housing: Stop SB 1090 from Preventing Rebuilding in Fire Zones. Victims of the 2025 LA Fires are rebuilding right now, and for some people, the only way to rebuild and become whole is by using state laws allowing lot splits (such as SB 9 and 1123). Others have understandably decided they don't want to rebuild, but many developers buying lots need the returns a lot split allows (otherwise can't pay the price fire victims deserve). The purpose of the state's density laws are to make it possible to build more homes and smaller homes, which means they cost less and rent for less. In other words, more affordable housing. PLEASE consider writing a letter that urges legislatures to reject 1090. Details here: https://lnkd.in/gH7FWJ2D

Panels manufactured by us and installed by MODBLT in one day for the garage for a rebuild home we're doing in Altadena designed by Lehrer Architects. With the only factory in the country that manufactures panels with automation and modules, we the flexibility to meet specific needs of projects based on their design, budget, schedule, transportation and installation logistics. Panels are a great solution for garages, since they are far less expensive to transport and install than modules -- and they're easy to install on slab on grade. Modules aren't. #AltadenaRebuild #EatonFire #Prefab #ModularConstruction #OffsiteConstruction #PrefabHomes #SustainableBuilding #ResilientHousing #WildfireRebuild #PlantPrefab

Yahoo News picked up the Los Angeles Times article yesterday that featured Plant Prefab -- and included even more photos of our plant! It's a good read about companies like us working on rebuild projects -- and it's not behind a paywall. Here's a sneak peak of Nightsky Camps, a design-forward eco-camp in the rolling hills of San Luis Obispo opening this Fall. We built 45 bathroom pods for the project -- complete with fixtures, finishes, flooring, and tile installed. They were paired on-site with a low-impact canvas-covered living structure and private deck to create a luxury retreat on California's Central Coast. If you're looking for a company offsite, team retreat, or just a weekend celebration, keep it on your radar. https://nightskycamps.com/
