  • What happens when nearly 70 leaders across the organization step away from the daily grind to align on the future? You get a masterclass in growth and strategic action. Last week, we gathered for our Growth Summit—a dedicated space for our leadership team to sharpen our skills and, more importantly, step back and center ourselves around the educators and administrators we serve. As we head back to our teams, we are carrying three core principles forward: 1. Listen to Industry Voices: Staying ahead means staying curious about the changing landscape of education. 2. Enhance Our Leadership: Growth isn't a destination; it’s a constant commitment to becoming better coaches and managers. 3. Center the Customer: In every meeting and every decision, the customer’s perspective remains our North Star. Now it’s time to turn these insights into action!

  • Learn how two districts are finding gifted students "hiding in plain sight." 🔍 Our latest blog features a K-12 Dive article on the power of universal screening and CogAT® data to uncover overlooked talent. By moving beyond traditional identification methods, both districts have expanded not just the number of students identified but the diversity of learners receiving advanced support. Here is what they achieved: •Northwest ISD (TX): Identified overlooked multilingual, 2e, and economically disadvantaged students. •Charleston County SD (SC): Tripled their advanced learning identification in just two years. 🔗 Read the full breakdown here: https://bit.ly/3QAcn98

  • At Riverside Insights, the Riverside Champion Award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to advance our mission: those who take ownership, drive results, and make a lasting impact. 🏆 We're proud to honor Andrew Staedeli, Corporate Controller, as our Riverside Champion. 👏 Andrew championed the successful launch of Ramp, our new corporate expense management system, leading his team to transform how Riverside Insights manages corporate expenses. • What does it mean to be truly strengths-based? 🌟 At Riverside Insights, we believe that student well-being is the foundation of academic achievement. The DESSA isn’t just an assessment—it’s a roadmap for resilience that empowers educators to look past deficits and focus on every student's unique potential. The data speaks for itself: A Johns Hopkins study revealed that just one tier of growth in resilience skills is associated with a full school year of academic gains. By using a common, strengths-based language, your entire district can: 🔹 Unite to track behavioral competence effectively. 🔹 Foster a proactive culture of support. 🔹 Turn assessment data into actionable growth. Swipe through to see how the DESSA uplifts every student. 👉 Visit our website to learn more: https://hubs.ly/Q04cmC7F0 #EdLeaders #MentalHealthinSchools #K12Education #StrengthsBased #RiversideInsights

  • At Riverside Insights, we believe that identifying giftedness requires looking beyond academic achievement to understand a student’s underlying aptitude. That’s where the Cognitive Abilities Test™ (CogAT®) comes in. The CogAT is designed to measure a student’s learned reasoning abilities across three distinct batteries: 💡Verbal: How students use language to solve problems. 💡Quantitative: Understanding numerical relationships and logic. 💡Non-Verbal: Identifying patterns and spatial relationships (critical for fair identification!). By providing a holistic view of a student’s cognitive strengths, we empower educators to differentiate instruction and provide the right level of challenge for every bright mind. 🚀 Swipe through to learn how CogAT helps unlock student potential and transforms G/T Programs 👉 🔗Learn more about supporting gifted learners: https://hubs.ly/Q04c86_V0 #GTchat #K12Administration #GiftedEducation #RiversideInsights #CognitiveAssessment

Our article, Social Emotional Growth as a Protective Factor Against Chronic Absenteeism is now available online in the journal, Social and Emotional Learning: Research, Practice, and Policy. Our study shows that students who develop their social emotional skills are much less likely to be chronically absent - our hope is that our findings encourage schools and districts to assess & monitor students' SEL skills, and to adopt programs and practices that support SEL development. https://lnkd.in/gMAKpy28 Jennifer Robitaille Emily Taylor Riverside Insights
