Rovertech LLC and Stronghold AI announce partnership to develop anti-FPV drone solutions On 16 June at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, Rovertech signed a memorandum of cooperation with French company STRONGHOLD AI. The partnership brings together STRONGHOLD AI’s expertise in artificial intelligence, sensor technologies, and autonomous systems with Rovertech’s battlefield experience gained through the daily deployment of robotic platforms in Ukraine. Together, we will develop new anti-drone solutions — from early concepts and testing to systems ready for real-world deployment. As part of this cooperation, STRONGHOLD AI joins the TARANTULA ecosystem — Rovertech’s anti-drone programme focused on protecting robotic systems from aerial threats. The programme’s first stage is dedicated to increasing the survivability of unmanned ground vehicles against FPV drone attacks. We are excited about what lies ahead: more ideas, more testing, more iterations — and, ultimately, solutions that help protect both robotic systems and the people who rely on them.

The Next Battlefield Gamechanger: Rovertech to Announce New Active Protection Programme at Eurosatory 2026 As unmanned ground systems become increasingly critical on the modern battlefield, their survivability is becoming one of the key challenges for the future of robotic warfare. At Eurosatory 2026, Ukrainian defence-tech company Rovertech will announce a new active protection direction for unmanned ground systems — developed from Ukraine’s frontline experience and focused on the next stage of robotic survivability and force protection. Further details will be unveiled at the Rovertech booth during Eurosatory 2026, where the company will present its battle-proven unmanned ground systems and share updates on its TARANTULA active protection programme. The announcement will also mark the start of a cooperation with French startup STRONGHOLD AI within the Tarantula programme. Since 2024, Rovertech has delivered more than 1,000 robotic systems for frontline and support operations. Its platforms are used for logistics, casualty evacuation, engineering operations, demining support, firefighting and other high-risk missions where reducing human exposure is critical. At Eurosatory 2026, Rovertech will represent Ukraine’s battlefield-driven defence innovation and demonstrate how unmanned ground robotics are evolving in response to the realities of modern warfare. Strategic Partnerships: How Collaboration Accelerates the Defense Tech Frontier In the defense industry, no single company can be equally effective at everything. This project progressed from initial concept to official codification in just 5 months. Integration is the true key to success. Each partner focuses on their core expertise: our colleagues at Rovertech produce one of the most durable chassis on the market, built on direct feedback from veterans and active combat units. DevDroid, in turn, provides the intellectual core of the system via the DroidBox. We are honored to share that Rovertech has won the DOU Awards 2026 in the category “Most Promising Defense Tech Project”. The award recognizes our ground robotic platform ZMIY, designed to operate where human presence is too dangerous. Today, these robots are working with Ukrainian defense units on the front line. Some figures that define the scale of this work: • Over 800 robots delivered to the battlefield • 600 platforms deployed in 2025 alone • One robot can withstand an average of 80 missions in the kill zone, while other vehicles can withstand an average of 7 • Some robots have survived 30–40 hits and continued to operate According to operational data from military units, a single ZMIY logistics robot can save up to 100 soldiers, performing missions in high-risk zones where people previously had to go themselves. Engineering versions of the platform are also used for demining operations. In some cases, one machine cleared more than 50 hectares of territory, allowing work to be done remotely in highly dangerous environments. For our team, this recognition from the largest IT community in Ukraine means a lot. It shows that Ukrainian engineering, robotics, and defense technology are gaining global attention and support. As our co-founder Borys Drozhak says: "We are deeply grateful to the technology community for their attention to the team's work and support for the development of Ukrainian defense technologies. Many people from the tech sector helped brigades purchase our robots for the front line. We are already preparing the next generation of updates for ZMIY." Rovertech presented innovative solutions for humanitarian demining in Tokyo On October 22-23, the Ukraine Mine Action Conference (UMAC-2025) was held in Tokyo. During the event, 11 Ukrainian and 13 Japanese manufacturers presented their own innovative solutions. The Rovertech team was among them. The event focused on real technologies that have already shown their effectiveness in the process of clearing Ukraine of explosive objects. Rovertech presented at UMAC-2025 a model of its own innovative deminer and also a prototype of an armored mower, which currently undergoing active testing. The mower is mounted on the armored UGV ZMIY Logistic as a special modification. It is capable of clearing the area from obstacles such as tall grass and thickets, giving sappers better access to the area. The mower is easy to use and resistant to mines. It was designed specifically for clearing the area before demining, taking into account the Ukrainian landscape and vegetation, and is therefore maximally adapted to the real working conditions in which sappers work today. “The pace of humanitarian demining in our country directly determines how fast and effective the reconstruction will be. Japan has extensive experience in post-war reconstruction and high technological potential. Japan is also among the international leaders when it comes to supporting demining in Ukraine. We were glad to have the opportunity to tell our Japanese partners about ZMIY, and how by combining it with a mower we can achieve even greater results. It was a valuable experience exchange, and we would definitely like to establish cooperation with Japanese companies in the future to further improve our technologies. We are sincerely grateful to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and personally to Minister Oleksii Sobolev and the Deputy Minister Ihor Bezkaravainyi for the invitation, and to the Government of Japan for its dedicated support of Ukraine. Rovertech Announces Openness to European Market and Joint Venture and Co-Product Venture Collaboration The 3rd International Defense Industry Forum, DFNC3, took place in Kyiv in the beginning of October. Rovertech participated in the event, presenting its two key developments during a panel dedicated to unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs): 📌 Reusable armored mine clearance vehicle “ZMIY” 📌 Logistics platform “ZMIY Logistic” ➡️ During the forum, the Rovertech team also announced its readiness to engage in joint venture and co-product venture collaborations. Company representatives immediately held several meetings with potential partners and investors, showcasing the capabilities of their line of armored UGVs. Both UGVs presented by the company at DFNC3 are already actively operating on the Ukrainian frontline. Borys Drozhak, Rovertech’s co-founder, spoke about this during his panel appearance. “The primary purpose of both UGVs is to save human lives. After all, safe and rapid logistics at the frontline are simply impossible if the territories are mined. ‘ZMIY’ can withstand the explosion of an anti-tank mine and is currently the only deminer capable of neutralizing a PFM mine. This makes it well-suited for the real operational conditions it was designed for,” said Borys Drozhak. He emphasized that “ZMIY Logistic”, which is now frequently used to evacuate the wounded, can reduce personnel losses by up to 30%. At the same time, the “ZMIY” demining vehicle enables effective clearance of paths for both military and civilians — a capability that is vital not only during offensive operations but also during evacuations. 👉🏻 At DFNC3, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced the launch of a controlled export program for Ukrainian weapons, titled “Zbroya”, which will allow domestic manufacturers to enter the international market. Rovertech is among the companies that have expressed readiness to pursue such opportunities and to collaborate with foreign buyers and investors. “Joining the President of Ukraine’s program ‘Zbroya’ is extremely important for us. For Rovertech, it is a high-level recognition of our technologies at the state level — proof that they are capable of entering the international market and a testament to their high quality, reliability, and efficiency under modern combat conditions. Overall, the launch of such a program would be a major step forward for the Ukrainian defense industry and a powerful boost for its leading players. Evacuation from the front line is one of the most dangerous operations. But Ukrainian developments give the military a chance to bring their comrades back alive even under heavy fire. In the Pokrovsk direction, a member of the Brave1 cluster, the ZMIY Logistic ground robotic complex from Rovertech LLC, evacuated a seriously wounded soldier from the 11th separate assault battalion of the 59th brigade, STEPOVI KHIZHAKI. The robot picked up the soldier directly from the front line, under intense enemy fire, whose positions were only 20 meters away. The UGV withstood hits from 5.45 caliber bullets, close explosions of 152 mm shells, a mine explosion, and an attack by an enemy FPV drone. The massive shelling that ZMIY came under caused a temporary loss of communication with it. For an hour and a half, the crew and the development team tried to restore control. Eventually, communication was restored, and the robot successfully transported the wounded soldier to the evacuation point, where medics were waiting for him. The soldier is alive and currently undergoing rehabilitation. This operation is an example of how technologies from Brave1 participants and the military work together to save lives.

Rovertech Wins International Humanitarian Demining Solutions Competition Sikorsky Innovation Challenge On September 30, the final of the international competition for innovative startup projects and technological solutions in the field of humanitarian demining, TechBridge x Sikorsky Innovation Challenge, took place in Kyiv. Rovertech secured first place in the competition, receiving a grant award to support further development of its project. Rovertech presented its key innovation at the competition — GRCS “Zmiy”. “Our team has a clear understanding that the future restoration of Ukraine directly depends on the effectiveness of innovations in the field of humanitarian demining. It is crucial that these innovations receive stable support for further development. Direct funding is, of course, one of the key components in this context. However, the opportunity to communicate with partners and potential buyers is extremely important for Ukrainian developers — including Rovertech. Our ‘Zmiy’ is already delivering strong results, operating in some of the most heavily mined areas. Such a significant recognition of our it by the Sikorsky Innovation Challenge is very important to us. It proves once again that we are moving in the right direction. We are thankful for that,” said Borys Drozhak, co-founder of Rovertech. The competition included participation from startups, engineering teams, university groups, research institutions, and companies working in fields related to demining. In addition to the awards ceremony, the event hosted a series of panel discussions aimed at addressing the main challenges in implementing innovative technologies in humanitarian demining, as well as potential solutions to these challenges. Throughout the event, clients, investors, and manufacturers had the opportunity to connect with startups, engage in dialogue, and explore possibilities for future funding and collaboration. The competition was organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Government of the United Kingdom, Innovation Holding Sikorsky Challenge, UK-Ukraine TechBridge platform, and the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
