Our best feature this month wasn't built by us. Sébastien Bossi Croci runs media at UTS Tour. He started where everyone starts on ScorePlay, with our portal and our share links. Then he wanted something that looked and felt like UTS, so he built his own version on top of our API. The part I like most is how far he took it 🤓 Every player has their own page. They open it, authenticate, and there is every clip of them with the newest on top. One tap and it's saved to their phone. No app. No QR codes. No "sorry, what was the link again?" Then he kept going. He put the match schedule and the media kit right in there. He built himself a screen where he can tag hundreds of clips at once instead of one by one, so anyone on his team can pitch in. And he can see who is actually using it. One player is at 80 downloads. Another has not opened it once. That last bit is my favourite. He knows it because we capture every asset in that much detail, so he can just go and ask. I think every team ends up here eventually. The portal and the share links cover the ground everyone shares. The last mile, the part that is specific to how you work and nobody else, is yours to build. Sébastien Bossi Croci just got there first. We ship the infra layer. They ship their features 🚀

MAM was never the final destination. Tomorrow, at the Sports Video Group Cloud & Content Workflows Summit, our Co-founder & CEO Victorien Tixier joins a panel on what comes next. 🗓 Tuesday 28 July | 1:30pm ET Most sports-media organizations have already moved past the idea that one system can do it all. The real story is how to integrate tools across your stack. And the harder question underneath it: how do you centralize enough to control cost without locking everyone out of the content? That’s what ScorePlay was built for: AI-native, open, and an end-to-end infrastructure that connects the systems teams already run. Vic will be joined by Michael Ayers (PGA TOUR), Kathleen Barrett (Backlight) and Brian Perkins (MLB NETWORK) for a conversation moderated by Brad Hughes. If you're there, come find us. If you're not, we'll make sure to share some takeaways after 👀

  • The 2026 World Cup generated 146.8B views across social video. The competition’s official channels? Around 20 billion. That means ~86% of the biggest sporting event in history was experienced through content that fans and creators made. Your fans aren't just your audience anymore. They're your biggest production team. And right now, most organizations have no way to capture what they create. That's why we built Fan Content Contests into ScorePlay 👀 launch a submission campaign, let fans upload their moments, moderate and select the best, and pull it straight into your media library: rights-cleared and ready to publish. The content is already being made. The only question is whether it ends up in your library or just your algorithm.

In year five. ScorePlay has essentially never had design as its own function. That was on purpose. Our obsession has always been to keep as few people as possible between the need, the customer, and the execution. When we added product, I asked our PMs to own design and stay close to customers. Margo, Louis and Yannis are amazing at it precisely because they understand the workflow before they draw a single screen. Claude Design changed everything. PMs prototype live, engineers build straight from it, customer feedback flows in automatically from our calls. That's not less design. It's more room for the craft that actually matters: taste, systems thinking, making complex workflows feel effortless. So we're not hiring someone to own every screen. We're hiring someone to enable, not to do. Someone who thinks in systems and designs how our PMs and engineers create rather than sitting in the middle of it. The goal: a design system so solid that anyone can build on our components, our teams and eventually our customers, without the design breaking. We want someone to define what design looks like in this new era, with the same obsession that got us this far: understand the workflow first, stay efficiency-driven, build the future of our design system in an agentic world. Exceptional taste. Complex UX. Infrastructure, business, SaaS. AI-native to the core. Freelance, full-time, whatever. We just want the best!

  • 🇳🇴 172 million views on TikTok. The 2026 World Cup's most viral moment didn't come from a broadcast truck: it came from the stands, with Norway's "Viking Row." We'll admit some bias: NFF works with ScorePlay, so watching their fans own it was special. What every media team should take from it is that moments like this happen at every club, federation, and event. The difference is whether they end up in your library or just in the algorithm. How the smartest teams are capturing them: 1️⃣ Give fans a destination: A branded submission page beats the old "tag us and maybe we'll find it." 2️⃣ Make rights part of the upload: Consent collected at submission, not chased in DMs. 3️⃣ Moderate fast: The best clip is publish-ready while the moment is still hot. 4️⃣ Treat fan content like first-party media: Tagged, searchable, and reusable next to your official footage. This is the exact workflow behind Fan Content Contests in ScorePlay, fan submissions flowing into the same library as everything else you produce. The next viral moment in your stadium is already being filmed. Where will it live?

  • How long does it take your team to find one quote in a 90-minute press conference? For ScorePlay users: seconds. Transcripts in ScorePlay export with timecodes flowing chronologically, so you scan straight to the moment you need, pull the quote, and move on. No watching sessions end-to-end. No scrubbing through footage. Just search, find, done. That's hours back every week for teams pulling quotes, validating content, and reviewing sessions. Because ScorePlay is built for the speed sport demands. ⚡
