Deterrence in focus in Taiwan. Brandon Tseng traveled to Taiwan last month to meet with government, industry, and media leaders. In a conversation with Business Next, he discussed how autonomous systems are reshaping defense and why scaling them is becoming central to modern deterrence. The focus is on enabling Taiwan to build and field its own AI-enabled defense capabilities, strengthening resilience and supporting a broader strategy to deter conflict. Following the strong momentum from our first AI Connect session, yesterday we wrapped up 𝐀𝐈 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 #2 — MedTech & Defense AI. As the second episode of this series, AI Connect continues to build what we set out to do from day one: 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 — sparking conversations that lead to real impact. AI is already reshaping industries where precision and trust are critical. This session brought together an incredible group of innovators and industry players: 🔹 4 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 AB DigiHealth Inc. — Achieving IVF success through innovation and data-driven science Anivance AI — Organ-chip solutions for decision-making in drug development CancerFree Biotech — Integrating AI and patient-derived organoids to decode cancer drug response from a single blood draw RadiRad — AI solutions for your heart, enabling easy and accurate blood pressure monitoring 🔹 𝐀𝐦𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 Shield AI — representing the defense industry We were also honored to have (詹婷怡)Nicole T.I Chan, Chairperson of the Artificial Intelligence Foundation & Digital Trust Association in Taiwan, share her insights on the evolution from responsible to trustworthy AI. Seeing how AI is already being applied in IVF, drug discovery, precision oncology, cardiovascular monitoring, and even defense made one thing clear: these are not future possibilities, but real-world solutions already taking shape. A huge thank you to our co-organizer, Enspyre Inc. 安石國際, for the strong support. And thank you to everyone that joined. We look forward to continuing this journey with you at the next AI Connect.

Autonomy for contested logistics. We completed our fourth autonomous flight test on the H145 as part of the United States Marine Corps’ Aerial Logistics Connector program, in partnership with Airbus U.S. Space & Defense (Florida), L3Harris Technologies, and Parry Labs. For the first time, all four teams’ technologies operated together on a single aircraft. During the test, Hivemind detected obstacles in the landing zone and autonomously rerouted to an alternate site in flight. See it at Army Aviation Association of America's Summit. Visit Booth 2911, and the Lakota helicopter on display at Airbus’ Booth 572. Read the full press release: https://lnkd.in/exrEKa5m Autonomy for the world. The greatest victory requires no war.

We’re just getting warmed up. More GE Aerospace engines are now in testing, with our teams performing break-in runs to establish baseline performance. Next step: integrating the axisymmetric vectoring exhaust nozzle to enable vertical flight. Autonomy for the world. The greatest victory requires no war.

On the ground at London Defence Conference. Ryan Tseng 🇺🇸 joined a panel on reindustrialization and innovation alongside ADS Group Ltd, Exiger, Tiberius Aerospace, BAE Systems, and MBDA. Across the event, conversations centered on readiness and what it takes to deliver capability at speed. That means producing systems at scale with software that performs in the field with the assurance of reliable behavior under real-world conditions. As seen in Ukraine, autonomy is already shaping that shift, and for many countries, scaling it is becoming core to national security. Hivemind is built for that model, enabling systems to be developed, tested, and deployed with the speed and reliability modern defense demands. Autonomy for the world. The greatest victory requires no war.

We’ll see you next week at Navy League of the United States Sea-Air-Space Expo! Visit Booth 336 to see how Hivemind enables autonomy across maritime platforms, how V-BAT is delivering intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance at sea with the United States Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard, and get up close with X-BAT, the world’s first AI-piloted VTOL fighter jet. We’re focused on delivering autonomy-enabled maritime capability that can be fielded now—helping distributed forces see, decide, and act faster. Autonomy for the world. The greatest victory requires no war.

CTO of the USA meets CTO of Shield AI. Ethan Klein, CTO at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, visited our San Diego office yesterday to connect with our technology leaders, including Nathan Michael, CTO, and Thomas Schaefer, Vice President of Hivemind. As autonomy reshapes the future of warfare, close collaboration between industry and government is critical to developing systems that protect the lives of service members and civilians. Autonomy for the world. The greatest victory requires no war.

Building on Black Sea security. As the final stop on a recent Eastern Europe tour, Brandon Tseng, Chris Brinkley (Head of Europe Business Development), and James L. (Head of Eastern Europe) met with senior Bulgarian leadership, including the Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, Chief of Defense, Chief of Land Forces, and Chief of Military Intelligence. Bulgaria is a NATO ally bridging the Balkans and the Black Sea and sits at the center of a region where security dynamics continue to shift. V-BAT is already operating across the Black Sea region, including missions supporting border security and surveillance with Frontex. Discussions focused on how systems proven in real-world operations can support Bulgaria’s national and maritime security priorities. Autonomy for the world. The greatest victory requires no war.
