We are excited to announce that Splight will be joining Australian Energy Week 2026 and visiting key stakeholders across Australia in June. The Australian market is a clear example of the scale of the energy transition challenge facing power systems globally. Rapid renewable growth and large-load demand, especially from data centers, are increasing pressure on the grid. This is driving congestion, renewable curtailment, price volatility and longer interconnection queues, while traditional grid upgrades face long permitting timelines, environmental challenges and complex delivery across long distances. In Melbourne, our team members Alberto Durán and Ignacio Fernández are looking forward to connect with TNSPs, DNSPs, AEMO, Generators, Data Center Developers, Regulatory Bodies, and other parties to discuss how Splight's Dynamic Congestion Manager can help operate the grid closer to its full potential safely and dynamically. Splight's DCM technology injects more clean energy, accelerates interconnections, reduces upward pressure on electricity prices, and creates a more reliable grid. Let’s connect at Australian Energy Week! #AustralianEnergyWeek #EnergyTransition #GridModernisation #Renewables #DataCenters #Splight

The grid wasn't built for what we're asking of it today. Demand is surging. Interconnection queues are backed up for years. And the instinct is to build our way out with new lines, new hardware, years of permitting and construction. That's the problem Splight was built to solve. Our software platform gives grid operators the real-time data and advanced computing intelligence to push existing infrastructure further safely, while enhancing reliability and affordability for all. It's why we're proud to be a member of the EPRI GET SET Affinity Group: a collaborative network of utilities, developers, and industry leaders driving GETs research and deployment forward. We bring a novel software layer to that conversation with the visibility, analytics, and operational tools that make the grid work. More capacity. More reliability. That’s the Splight approach. We're excited to announce that Juan Monsalve Restrepo is joining Splight as our Chief Financial Officer! The grid is structurally changing. Demand for transmission infrastructure is far beyond what the grid was originally designed to deliver. Many operating parameters are outdated, built on discrete and reactive conditions that no longer reflect reality. Grid operators, generators, and large offtakers are navigating constraints never seen before, and the cost for owners and operators is compounding: curtailment, delayed interconnection, operational exposure. Splight's Dynamic Congestion Management (DCM) infrastructure operates injection, withdrawal, and storage in real time at the interconnection point. We solve grid constraints that were previously considered inflexible, making the work of grid operators, generators, and offtakers safer and more productive. The result is tangible: more and faster interconnection capacity, materially reduced curtailment, and higher reliability. Juan joins us from Brookfield Asset Management, where he spent years at the intersection of energy transition and infrastructure investing. He brings firsthand experience investing in and operating assets at a scale very few people get to see. He has underwritten the very assets that depend on our solution. As Splight deploys at scale with utilities, generators, data centers, and large offtakers, Juan reinforces our market depth, financial discipline, and operational rigor. Welcome Juan. Let’s unlock the entire capacity of the grid! #GridTech #EnergyTransition #Infrastructure #DCM #Splight

Robinson Meyer has written the clearest account yet of why America’s electricity crisis demands urgent attention. We agree completely and want to add another dimension the piece doesn’t fully explore: while we build the grid of the future, we can unlock significant capacity from the grid we have today. New transmission, permitting reform, and nuclear are the right long-term moves. But they take years, and demand is arriving now. The good news is that utilities and grid operators don’t have to wait. A growing toolkit of fast-deployable solutions can deliver real capacity gains in months. Dynamic Congestion Management (DCM) is one of the most powerful solutions in this toolkit. Deployed by Splight across utilities in multiple regions globally, DCM enables fast-responding assets, such as batteries, generators, and large loads, to react to grid contingencies in milliseconds. This allows operators to safely raise transmission limits on existing lines, adding up to 90% more firm, usable capacity without new infrastructure. Critically, utilities deploying DCM have resolved interconnection bottlenecks, expanded capacity, and improved reliability simultaneously. These are outcomes that were once seen as competing priorities. Other near-term tools deserve attention too: dynamic line ratings, advanced reconductoring, topology optimization, and demand flexibility programs are all deployable today and operating at scale in other markets. The long build-out of infrastructure is essential. But utilities and regulators have an opportunity now to do both: invest in tomorrow’s grid while extracting more from what we have today. That’s not a tradeoff. It’s a strategy. https://lnkd.in/gUkDvRbB

We were absolutely thrilled to present at the EPRI Incubatenergy Labs Pitch Day in Atlanta, where we showcased our Dynamic Congestion Manager (DCM) solution. On stage, Derrick Kemph demonstrated how Splight’s software-based, advanced transmission technology safely unlocks up to 2X more usable transmission capacity on existing infrastructure using cutting-edge algorithms and real-time response capabilities. For utilities facing decade-long build timelines and growing interconnection queues from data centers and generation assets alike, DCM enables significant interconnection timeline reduction while enhancing the reliability of the grid while new infrastructure is completed. Thank you to EPRI, Incubatenergy Labs, Georgia Power Company, and Southern Company for hosting and making this program what it is. And congratulations to the full cohort of finalists. Connect with us at splight.com/contact or message us directly to learn more about how DCM can solve your interconnection issues. #Incubatenergy #IEL #EPRI #GridModernization #TransmissionCapacity

📈 As data centers scale to meet the demands of AI and electrification surges across industries, one constraint looms largest: Access to power. 🔌 New energy projects and large loads are stuck in interconnection queues that stretch out for years. Even those already connected to the grid face curtailment due to congestion. The result? Delayed deployments, underutilized assets, and missed profitability targets. ⚡ That’s where Splight’s Dynamic Congestion Management technology (DCM) comes in: Our flagship product is designed to accelerate timelines for accessing transmission capacity, unlocking pathways for both new and existing projects alike. Whether you're a solar developer facing curtailment or a hyperscaler looking to “bring your own power,” DCM helps you move faster, smarter, and with greater certainty. 🚦 Transmission constraints shouldn’t be the reason innovation and growth stall. 💡 Let’s build the grid we need. Now. #EnergyTransition #DataCenters #GridModernization #Renewables #Transmission #Electrification #DCM #Interconnection
