❤️ Giving back to our employees and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of being an EEC member of the Triumvirate Environmental team. As a member of the Employee Engagement Committee (EEC), I had the opportunity this past weekend to help create a fun-filled day for our employees and their families. It was amazing to see everyone come together, enjoy the activities, and spend time connecting outside of the workplace. Being part of the EEC allows myself to be involved in creating experiences that show appreciation for our employees and celebrate the people who make our organization successful. Moments like these are a great reminder that our culture is built not only on the work we do every day, but also on the relationships and connections we build along the way. Connecting with environmental health and safety professionals at the Cshema Conference in Austin this week was an absolute blast! There is nothing quite like meeting face-to-face—it was fantastic catching up with current clients, starting conversations with prospective ones, and networking with fellow vendors to explore future opportunities and collaborations. A huge highlight for me was spending quality time with our Texas team and connecting with some incredible guest speakers who flew in for the event. Increasingly hot summers like the one we are currently experiencing can stress refrigerant-containing appliances as they work extra hard to keep samples, machines, and products cool. This can, in turn, wear down machines and cause leaks—releasing harmful HFCs into the air. Dealing with a refrigerant leak? If you meet certain conditions, you may be required to report it. This year, I became a mentor through Partners for Youth with Disabilities, and when I learned about their Youth Leadership Forum, I knew I wanted to be involved in a bigger way. I developed a 90-minute workshop called Try On Your Future where participants: ✨ Discovered their strengths 🎨 Built personal brand boards 🎤 Practiced elevator pitches 💼 Explored LinkedIn, professional dress, and adaptive style 📸 Got professional headshots A huge thank you to Triumvirate Environmental for sponsoring the headshot clinic, and to Keith Dixon for co-facilitating.
