Last week, I welcomed our CEO, Philippe Guillemot, to Youngstown to see firsthand how our teams are building on that legacy by delivering world-class manufacturing and fostering a strong safety culture. He had the opportunity to see how our latest investment in a state-of-the-art premium threading line is materializing, on time, on budget - industrial excellence at work. Leadership visits are valuable not because executives tour facilities, but because they create opportunities to listen, ask questions, and learn from the people who know the operation best. During our visit, we conducted safety walk-throughs, engaged directly with employees, and discussed both what’s working well and where we can continue to improve. Those conversations matter because the people closest to the work often have the best insights into how we become safer, stronger, and more efficient. We also recognized several team members for their commitment to safety and reviewed the investments we're making in digitalization and infrastructure to help position Youngstown for the future. Thank you, Philippe, for taking the time to listen, ask questions, and engage directly with our teams. And thank you to everyone in Youngstown for the dedication, professionalism, and pride you bring to work every day. You are what makes this site a cornerstone of Vallourec’s global operations.
