Last month, WTS-LA welcomed LA Metro Chief Planning Officer Ray Sosa for an insightful discussion on the opportunities, challenges, and investments shaping mobility across Los Angeles County. From Measure M implementation and major corridor projects to preparations for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the conversation highlighted the critical role planning plays in building a more connected, equitable, and resilient transportation system. As Sosa noted during the discussion, transportation planning is not just about delivering projects: it's about creating a system that serves today's needs while preparing for future generations.
