Role Description The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on residential rebuilding projects. This position coordinates subcontractors, manages schedules, and ensures work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. The role includes enforcing safety protocols, conducting site inspections, and resolving issues that arise in the field. The superintendent collaborates with project managers, vendors, and inspectors to maintain timelines, control costs, and support clear communication across all stakeholders. This role also involves documenting progress, reporting on project status, and helping drive efficient, high-quality construction that aligns with Unified Home Solutions’ mission.
Qualifications

• Strong construction site management and on-site supervision skills, with experience overseeing multiple trades and phases of construction.
• Knowledge and application of construction safety practices, OSHA standards, and risk mitigation on active job sites.
• Solid organization skills, including schedule coordination, documentation, and prioritization of daily tasks and resources.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and basic financial tracking related to labor, materials, and change orders.
• Proficiency in project management, including planning, sequencing work, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in residential or light commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with crews, subcontractors, clients, and inspectors.
• Familiarity with construction management software and digital tools for scheduling and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites in the Los Angeles area.
