We've been retained by a respected building materials distributor seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead and develop a multi-location team. This role is ideal for a people-focused leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, improving processes, and creating an environment where employees can thrive.

This position is about much more than managing orders and metrics. You'll be responsible for building a culture of accountability, collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement while supporting both customers and employees across multiple branches.

Key areas of focus include:

✔ Leading, coaching, and developing Inside Sales team members

✔ Creating effective onboarding and training programs

✔ Building a positive, high-performing team culture

✔ Partnering with Operations, Purchasing, and Outside Sales to ensure exceptional customer experiences

✔ Identifying process improvements and driving operational excellence

✔ Helping employees grow professionally and reach their potential

We're looking for a leader who:

• Has experience managing inside sales, customer service, or sales support teams

• Leads through coaching, communication, and accountability

• Enjoys developing people and building strong teams

• Can successfully navigate change and drive continuous improvement

• Has experience in distribution, building materials, construction products, manufacturing, or related industries
