Spent some time this past week pulling materials for an architect who wanted to feature our work for Creative Capital of Canada, and WOW! I got unexpectedly emotional going through it all. So many people involved. So many who wanted to be. So many incredible stories captured. Meetings, community events and more. Honestly, it was ahead of its time. We started in 2019 and then by 2022, there was just too much going on in the world for it to fully land and take hold. Sharing the trailer here (just one small aspect) for a video series we made celebrating the creative community of Kitchener-Waterloo — one that never got the airtime it should have. I get the goosebumps part, Erin. Wonderful walk down memory lane. Him & Her has done so much to help us build capacity of charities across Canada. Your trailer also shows why Capacity Canada has been able to excel with roots in this unique Region

I wish we kept going with this -- such a fantastic initiative and vision. I still think about the buzz it created in the community. Every once in a while, I hear someone talk about it and it sends goosebumps up my spine! Seeing the trailer just did it again!!

What discussions and fun we had. So much passion in our community to tell authentic, optimistic and hopeful stories. That’s how culture works and we have a rich one of collaboration and creation in Waterloo Region. I needed this blast from the past Erin Martin. A timely post. 🙏👏👏
