Seeds, startups and space! What do they have in common? It was part of the amazing masterclass the Swinburne Innovation Studio organised last month. In this masterclass, I had the chance to get insight into how to create a startup around any given idea from Sara Webb and Rebecca Allen, and the support structures Swinburne offers to support entrepreneurial efforts in all industries, including the space industry. What really fascinated me was the step-by-step process of ideation, refining this idea into something that is unique and provides value to end-users, and has the capacity to scale and be commercialised. Often times, the success of the startup is dependent on the strength of the idea at its core. And sometimes this stage takes longer than all other stages. This is one of the first Swinburne Innovation Studio events that I've gone to, and I think it was great to see how knowledge about space could be used to solve a completely different set of problems and has gotten me thinking of my own ideas. #swinburne #event #entrepreneurship #science #astronomy #space #stem #education #masterclass

📢 Exciting update Chase AI Solutions has made it to the second round of the Monash Generator Startup Sprint! 🚀 The biggest lesson so far has been learning how to slow down, test assumptions, and really understand the problem before jumping into the solution. Over the past few days, we’ve been challenged to think more clearly about who we are helping, what pain they are experiencing, and whether that pain is strong enough to build around. It has been such a valuable experience to step out of “idea mode” and into validation mode - asking better questions, listening more carefully, and refining the way we communicate value.
