🏎️Congratulations to the RaceUP Team di Formula SAE from the Università degli Studi di Padova on their new single-seaters set to compete in this year’s international competitions! After months of intense development work, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗫 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁, 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 — one fully electric and one internal combustion — with recent efforts also moving toward hybrid solutions. Their cars are engineered to compete with leading universities worldwide in some of the most demanding international motorsport events. Using our 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝟯𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (https://lnkd.in/ePCNJ4U9), we manufactured key components for their electric vehicle, including the 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. Additive manufacturing in aluminum alloys enabled complex, highly optimized geometries that would be extremely difficult to achieve with conventional processes. This allowed improved integration, functionality, and performance across critical vehicle systems.
