Why experimentation matters according to John Healy... Transformation of your workforce ecosystem doesn’t happen through large declarations. It happens through disciplined experimentation. Digital transformation isn’t just about technology. Your organization may set the direction, and your partners may guide the journey, but success ultimately depends on the people executing it. Without the right skills, alignment, and culture, even the best strategies will fall short. https://hubs.ly/Q048kv6F0

The organizations that don’t adapt… will break. Not slowly. Not quietly. And not in ways they can easily recover from. Because this shift isn’t happening at the surface level. It’s happening underneath— in how decisions are made, how talent is identified, and how opportunity actually moves. Most will try to respond the same way they always have: Adding tools. Patching processes. Trying to fix outcomes without changing the system. But that approach doesn’t scale anymore. It fractures. Their talent pipelines will dry up. Their hiring will become more difficult, not less. Their costs will rise as they chase solutions that don’t align. And eventually— they become irrelevant to the very people they’re trying to serve. This isn’t about innovation anymore. It’s about survival. We’re past the point of optional change. And the organizations that recognize that early… will be the ones that move first.

The biggest risk in transformation isn’t always visible. It sits between decision-making and execution, where priorities are interpreted, aligned, and delivered. This “middle layer” is becoming one of the most critical (and stretched) parts of any transformation programme. We’re seeing a shift in how organisations hire for it.
