Making settlement more efficient starts with making better use of available liquidity. DTC's automated partial settlement capability enables eligible deliveries to settle incrementally throughout the day through a more automated, system-supported process. The result: improved liquidity utilization, reduced operational burden and a more streamlined settlement experience. Explore the Automated Partial Settlement Guide: https://brnw.ch/21x4iOL

The watch market is on a path toward consolidation. Historically, every significant market develops robust infrastructure, including: - Standardized escrow services - Universal authentication processes - Clearing mechanisms for cross-border transactions Those dealers and collectors who strategically positioned themselves before this infrastructure emerged often appear wise in hindsight.

Today, HIFI participated in DTCC's first production trades of tokenized U.S. securities, alongside BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, NYSE, and 30+ other institutions. HIFI participated in two onchain U.S. Treasury repo trades, executed on two venues: Tradeweb and Temple Digital Group's RFQ platform. In each trade, a DTC-tokenized Treasury supplied by DRW was financed against tokenized cash, with Marex as prime broker. Delivery versus payment, in real time, while the underlying security remained within DTC's existing book-entry framework. As part of the initiative, HIFI powered the cash leg, moving USD from a fiat account into onchain USDC, then into USDCx on Canton to fund the trades. At maturity, the flow reverses through HIFI back to fiat. This builds on the onchain repo we completed with DRW, Marex, and Tradeweb in June. And the tokenization and custody are now handled by DTCC, the market infrastructure that processed $4.7 quadrillion in transactions last year. Repo is a $12.6 trillion daily market. With the DTCC Tokenization Service launching in October 2026, the funding layer beneath U.S. capital markets is moving onchain. HIFI is building the rails that connect it to the banking system. Congratulations to The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), DRW, Marex, Tradeweb, Temple Digital Group, and Digital Asset on the milestone.

Tradeweb handled execution and price discovery as a tokenized U.S. Treasury moved against USDCx. Franklin Templeton, Virtu Financial, Circle and Canton Network completed a synchronized asset-and-cash sequence. Electronic fixed-income venues now have a concrete path into tokenized settlement. Settlement finality remains one of the fundamental building blocks of wholesale digital asset markets. While atomic settlement is a powerful capability, it isn't always the desired outcome. Financial institutions often need the flexibility to coordinate assets and liabilities, optimise liquidity and align settlement across multiple obligations before a transaction becomes legally final. As digital markets mature, the conversation is shifting from simply enabling faster settlement to designing smarter, programmable settlement. In the latest conversation with e-Forex, Myles Wright discusses why settlement design, interoperability and trust will be critical to scaling institutional digital asset markets. https://lnkd.in/eVf-DNsv

Jetzt geht's los: 17 Banken "now preparing to pilot live transactions using tokenised deposits for 24/7 payment availability and better liquidity efficiency." The shared ledger provides participating banks with a secure orchestration layer for bank-issued tokenised deposits on their own ledgers, enabling them to move funds for customers -- including overnight and on weekends -- before completing final settlement through existing systems.
