Global Infrastructure Investment Priorities Revealed

People around the world see infrastructure investment as a major driver of jobs and economic growth – and most are open to private capital, or blended public-private models, to help deliver it. That's according to the new Global Infrastructure Index from GIIA and Ipsos, a survey of 21,000+ people across 29 countries on the benefits of infrastructure, national satisfaction levels and sources of funding or financing. The Index also polled the public on individual priority sectors for investment, finding that: - Globally, water supply jumped to become the public's highest prioritized sector, followed by rail, solar energy, and roads 📊 - Water supply and sewerage emerged as the top priority for investment in 9 out of 29 countries surveyed, and more broadly in the top three positions for 18 out of 29 countries 💧 🔗 Explore the full findings: https://lnkd.in/e87H7Y-m 🌎 GIIA’s country-by-country analysis can also be accessed here: https://lnkd.in/ebeuSZ7R
