Firefly Fridays 🍕✨ Experimented with a pizza-inspired typography concept using Adobe Firefly, exploring how texture can transform simple letterforms into something instantly recognisable. These creative exercises are a great way to explore new visual styles, push ideas further, and discover concepts that can later inspire branding and packaging projects. I'm making this a weekly series, what ingredient should I turn into typography next? #AdobeFirefly #TypographyDesign #Branding #CreativeDesign #GraphicDesign

How type moves is such a beautiful and underrated part of motion design. When we partnered with the team at Tines on a recent video project for their Workflow event, we obsessed over this. The result: typography ran as a thread through the whole piece. Purposeful, but also playful. Words became a design element as much as the message, clearly associating the Workflow brand with the Tines main brand while feeling genuinely fresh and distinct from it. Little snippet below...see the full piece and read the story behind it here: https://lnkd.in/eHBBxc_s 📽️

Typography is one of those design fundamentals that looks simple on the surface, but the deeper you go, the more you realize how much detail it takes to get it just right. Every time I work on a layout, there's always that one concern: "Is this typography really delivering the feel and clarity I want?" To sharpen my foundation, l've been documenting my notes on font classifications, scaling, and Figma naming conventions. Here's a quick snapshot of my breakdown so far. . . To my fellow designers : What am I missing here? What are your go-to typography rules or cheat codes when building design systems? Drop your thoughts, feedback, or missing pieces in the comments I'd love to learn from your experience! . . . #UIUXDesign #Typography #ProductDesign #DesignSystem #LearningInPublic #UserInterface #DesignProcess

After spending a little more time fine-tuning the composition, this Yoru key art concept is officially wrapped! My goal was to take official studio assets and build a poster that leans heavily into scale and visual aggression. In the final version, I wanted to focus on solving the visual weight and typography integration. 💡 Design Pro Tip: Intentional Negative Space In earlier iterations, the upper-left area felt a bit empty, but rushing to fill it with elements can ruin a poster's composition. Instead of adding more imagery, I embedded large, low-opacity background typography ("YORU"). This fills the space structurally without competing with the main focal point—those high-intensity glowing eyes. 🔥 Branding Pro Tip: Balancing Identity & Art When dealing with dark, atmospheric pieces, stark white logos can break the immersion. By pulling the official game branding into the bottom right and shifting the text color to match the dominant crimson palette, the title acts as a clean anchor that feels completely native to the environment. Knowing when to let a design breathe and how to quietly integrate text is what elevates a standard composite into a cohesive poster. What’s your go-to method for balancing text and high-contrast imagery? #GraphicDesign #PosterDesign #VisualDesign #KeyArt #ValorantArt #Photoshop #CreativeDirection #EntertainmentDesign

New day New design New story I didn't start with Photoshop. I started with a blank canvas... ...and one question. "How do I make someone stop scrolling?" That question became the foundation of this design. Every poster tells a story. Not through paragraphs. Through color. Through typography. Through composition. And most importantly... Through emotion. For this project, I wasn't designing another promotional post. I wanted it to feel like a premium announcement. A deal that doesn't scream for attention... It earns it. So instead of adding dozens of elements, I focused on creating one dominant visual—the bold "DEAL" headline. Everything else became its supporting cast. The bottle-inspired structure wasn't just a shape. It became a container for the entire message. The glowing gold palette represents value. The black background adds confidence. The portrait builds trust. And the flowing golden waves guide your eyes naturally across the composition. Nothing was placed randomly. Every pixel had a purpose. Every shadow had a reason. Every highlight was intentional. Research shows that clear visual hierarchy, focused composition, and purposeful storytelling help audiences process and remember a design more effectively. #GraphicDesign #VisualStorytelling #BrandIdentity #SocialMediaDesign #CreativeProcess #Typography #DesignThinking #AdobePhotoshop #Branding #DigitalDesign #FreelanceDesigner #CreativeJourney #LinkedInCreators

Distort, align, snap. ⚡️ Adding depth and dimension to typography can completely transform a brand's visual identity. Here is a quick workflow breakdown of using the Perspective Selection Tool and Pathfinder in Adobe Illustrator to map custom type seamlessly. Workflows like this keep design assets modern, versatile, and high-impact, whether for standalone campaign graphics, brand identity systems, or custom logo marks. How often do you incorporate perspective grids or 3D techniques into your design workflow? Let me know in the comments! #GraphicDesign #BrandIdentity #AdobeIllustrator #Typography #VisualDesign #DesignWorkflow #PatproGraphics #GraphicDesigner

I spoke with a product designer recently, exhausted by typography. She'd devoured every tutorial, every 'best fonts' list, but her layouts still felt… flat. She couldn’t pinpoint why her headers lacked impact, or what ‘good’ spacing even looked like. Her real problem wasn’t a lack of information. It was a lack of refined observation. She was trying to apply formulas without understanding the underlying principles. Typography isn't about finding the perfect font. It’s about crafting relationships. The dance between a header and its subheader, the subtle tension in line height, the visual weight of a sentence. This isn't found in a checklist; it's developed by cultivating your eye. You don't need more tools. You need to thoughtfully deconstruct what makes truly effective type *effective*. Understand the invisible choreography that guides the eye. That’s where the 'wow' lives. What relationships are you truly seeing in the designs around you? This perspective is foundational to how we approach creative challenges at TGDRC. "𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝟱-𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲." 😄 Every designer knows this sentence never ends there. Five minutes to make the change.Twenty minutes to check typography, spacing, alignment, and brand consistency. Another twenty to explore a few more options... And somehow, the only thing that actually took 𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 was the message asking for the change. 😂 Behind every "small edit" are dozens of tiny decisions that keep a brand looking polished and consistent. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳.🎨 #BrandDesign #GraphicDesign #DesignerLife #CreativeProcess #BrandIdentity #DesignHumor #ClientFeedback
